I find it odd, that Australians go to Bali, Fiji and Thailand, and yet we have our own tropical islands. I get why locals don’t want their island Paradise, overrun by tourists, but I am sure if the numbers could be tightly controlled, that these islands would benefit tremendously from tourist income. I for one would prefer to holiday somewhere within Australia.
