In 1979 when this video was filmed, "Old" Parliament House 2:25 consisted of 124 Members of Parliament (MP's) in the Lower House (House of Reps) and 64 Senators 17:58 (10 per state and 2 per territory) in the upper house (Senate); Government on the Right, Opposition on the Left. Today, "New" Parliament House consists of 151 MP's in the Lower House and 76 Senators (12 per state and 2 per territory) in the Upper House; Government on the Right, Opposition on the Left, Independent/s and Other Minor Parties in the middle (AKA: The Crossbench). It's amazing how much we learn about our own democracy regardless of how controversial our politicians really are when it comes to representing their constituencies.

Can't imagine having to cut down a Jarrah tree by hand. It's a nightmare just trying to split it for firewood.

Beautiful animals. I hope there is a viable population still living in Tassie's wilderness. If there is they deserve to be left in peace.

These tradesmen could support their family, buy a house and his wife could stay home if she wanted to raise their children. A carpenter now can produce close to 3x the amount of work, invests many multiples more in tools yet earns less in real terms. Where’s all the excess money going🤔

@Tokaisho13 күн бұрын
You need a living mother or close relative species, this has no close relatives, Kangaroos being very distant
@BigPooprr3 күн бұрын
The words I think youre trying to say are DNA instead of D&A and "Extinction" instead of Extraction. But yes there are some people working to de-extinct the animal
