What Eugenio said about this story relating to immigrants is so very true. I was the translator and actually still am to my immigrant family. As a child having to navigate adult conversations, paperwork, translation between teachers, coaches ect. I didn’t realize what a heavy burden that really was on me until this film. This movie was touching in so many ways, beautifully done!!

Regrettably, what *most* forget about immigrants is…. Unless a person is full-blooded First Nations, you either ARE an immigrant or are descended from immigrants. Having said that….yes, you have been burdened, but you are a wonderful person!
