Good here in Australia 🇦🇺 we have 12000 to pick from. The thing is flights are expensive.

7:49 I found an old cudzik pulltab sitting right on the surface last weekend, literally just picked it up, sitting like it was discarded earlier that day

Has Jim ever tried your Nokta Simplex Ultra? I find the Ultra hits targets much harder than the Legend in 15kHz. I think jewellery Jim would be deadly with the Ultra! Though that new FindX Pro looks awesome for the money. Your live dig videos always tell prospective buyers much more about the detector’s potential, than mere air tests or swinging over freshly buried targets!

Jim has the FindX which is pretty much the same detector as the Ultra, The Ultra takes too much messing around with the discrimination menu at startup. Nokta really should update the Ultra so it saves the disc pattern when turned off. The FindX is so much more stable around other detectors than the Simplex. The Ultra and FindX do not like being around each other.

@@PaystreakSuperfreak Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about updating the Ultra so that it saves the user preferred discrimination pattern, as having to remember to turn on the iron volume is a right pain! Plus, the loudness of the iron volume needs tweaking too, so that the loudness increases gradually, as at the moment in certain modes there’s not much difference between the lowest and highest setting! Happy Hunting!
When you talk about cold beach water, “52 degrees”. Where abouts are you at? I’m in Washington state. Our coastal beaches, same story. 52 degree water. Cold water, = no sunbathing swimmers.

We live in Salem Oregon. The Pacific Northwest beaches have very cold water for swimmers. People might last a half hour and get hypothermia when the air temp is 90 degrees

@@PaystreakSuperfreak , I figured you were close by. I’m in Seattle. The beach is not the THING. I’m going 6 days to So. Ca. In Sept. can’t wait.
