I'm part of the carnivorous plant society but couldn't come to the fair last year, today I did and picked up some more Nepenthes from my friends at the society. They actually have monthly meetings at Burwood (the second Friday of every month) where they discuss plants (I always go).

Oh por Dios! The perfect place to live! I would pitch a tent there and not even a tornado would move me. Mother! My head would spin like the girl from the exorcist because I wouldn't know where to look! How many plants and how beautiful they all are! if I ever visit this site I would have to return home with a minivan car to carry all my purchases. Definitely in another life I was a flowerpot. Long live the plants, the vendors, the botanists, the landscapers and the addicts to plants and animals. And, as we say in Spain Óle tú! and thanks for this wonderful video!

I have 1 question , has your banana tree ever got aphids?Mine did and I had a 7 ft. Banana that gave aphids to some of my plants that I had to tree.I now have a baby pink no-no that I am guarding with my life and checking every day for aphids.I

Some tips about orchids - they require diff care based on they species or types but the most common types - Cattlyea (these are more drought tolerant and grow big flowers and have bulbs to store water) - Phalaenopsis (these are common orchids and tell you they are thirsty when roots go silvery. when green leave it alone) take it out of moss if your home is humid n move into bark and soak every watering and let drain. Never let water get into the crown and if you do take paper n dab it out or it will rot)
