The speakers name is Prof. Mehrsa Baradaran. Her book is "The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap." Another great book on the topic is William Darity's and A. Kirsten Mullen's "From Here to Equality: the Case for Reparations for African Americans in the 21st Century."

I think she is trying to compress her whole book in this short time span. It may have been better to focus on a narrower topic. However, this should be used as a motivation to read her book, which is superb..

She’s great. I really enjoyed this. I would love to hear a panel discussion with her and Thomas Sowell ... they cite much of the same historical information. I honestly think that solutions can come when all the real honest history is laid out along with the understanding of how the markets worth.

Because she's schooling blacks and the last thing they want is educated negroes on the block. Trump himself loves the uneducated, which is how they predominately see blacks. And they aim to keep it that way if it's the last thing they do.

Logistically, this was a nightmare! Obviously, she is very intelligent and is talking about an extremely important subject; but, she is too soft in this video, where she is being disrespected, & does so very little, & obviously did so very little prior to the filming of this talk, in requiring that the details of the logistics of this talk, the filming, etc., be worked out well before the filming took place, so that they wouldn't be an issue when the filming took place, and that she and this subject matter be given the respect that they deserve. It's her fault that she didn't push back against this slow, lazy & stammering behavior. And it's the fault of the idiots who allowed this talk & the filming of it to be such a slow, lazy & stammering shit-show!

I’ll give you one example Back then when White Families applied for housing loans they got accepted but the federal bank would not approve loans Black families with a similar background applied for loans they where rejected Causing them to rent homes as compared to owning . Fast forward decades later .the white family home has Appreciated ,they have equity and can now invest in more property etc On the other side of the coin the same black family is still renting with zero equity and capital . That’s only one example I have several . Alhamdulillah 🤲🏿
