At my last last skin check a few months ago my doctor said my skin was in great condition. I turn 77 next month and am generally in good health. Nothing wrong with wrinkles. I wear very little make-up, usually just lipstick, eye make-up on special occasions. Just hoping to grow old hopefully gracefully and enjoy living my life.

I can work from home thankfully or I would be retired on health grounds due to fibromyalgia. I have to go into the office once or twice a month to deal with stuff that cannot be done via electronic records. I am so thankful I can carry on working and earn my own keep rather than become another benefit dependant. So it is possible to work from home, be productive and do your job.

I'm well into my sixties and cannot remember the last time I wore makeup. I'm very happy in my own skin. Yes, I have a routine, and there are products that I use. But I will use supermarket brands which are equally as good.

One problem for these skincare companies is that the older woman would have to be using their product for a few years in order to show that they prevent or repair wrinkles caused by aging, because aging happens gradually over time. Most companies can’t show this type of evidence for their product because: 1. The product doesn’t actually work, or 2. The company hasn’t had enough time or expertise to demonstrate the effectiveness (eg. clinical photos taken over time). There are a handful of products that have demonstrated improvement in wrinkles, containing sufficient concentrations of ingredients such as retinoic acid, retinaldehyde, ferulic acid, glycolic acid for example.

Trevor, I’m in my late seventies and people won’t believe my age. I think some credit must go to the skincare I use but a lot of it is genetic. My father didn’t have wrinkles either. My mother was as wrinkled as a prune! She swore by soap and water and never used anything else on her skin.

I work from home and love it. My work is telephonic to my clients which are all over the US. There is no difference in my work being done in the office vs at home. The folks I work with who are in various states have a great relationship and work as a team. The pros of working at home: no office politics, no drive to and from work in rush hour traffic or bad weather, I am more productive at home as what would be drive time is now productive time, if I have to work late I don’t have to walk to the parking garage by myself. Cons: none

Why would your job not be needed if you are working from home ,as you said? You are working wherever you are. It’s not where you work is getting the job done. Organisations are reducing costly building space. Save space to keep staff. Gone are the days of 9-5, in an office. work is more fluid, working when the job needs you. ‘Office’ now is touch down areas, office buildings, video calls etc. out of the traditional office you can speak with other team workers via MS Team chat, or audio, or whatever. Technology has come on. It’s not waiting on a call as you said. Work is now also electronically created,collaborative working on documents so there is a constant communication, sat next to the person, or not. There aren’t bits of paper, or printed documents. Organisations working in this way you are more productive. A problem being though you do work more hours as you’re picking work up ‘out of hours’ and when sick .

To be fair if a Company has the right setup it is possible for some aspects of office based work to be done securely through a businesses own network which can be on a par with if you were physically in the office. Agree that for some more sensitive jobs where security has to be more advanced then yeah an Official Office is most likely going to be a better option. From a productivity point of view I think this greatly depends on the character of the employee, those who are of a conscious nature will generally still work the hours they are contracted for & in some cases will work beyond the hours as well to get something finished. Also some in Office environments can get distracted by others & actually be less productive. Plus there are ways that Companies can tell if a computer is idle & what time work has been entered onto their system & by who etc. Email traffic, phone availability & call usage can also be monitored without physically being present.

Depends on the job and its function. I'm a proofreader/copywriter and work well from home because of less distractions. I'm also just a call or video chat away. I'm rarely needed for meetings, so in or out of the office, I'm productive. Also, depends on the person. Not everyone can be successful from home. So, I don't think if someone works from home, they are just goofing off and doing nothing. I wouldn't have a job if that was the case.

Growing up in the fifties and sixties my Dad was a coal miner, and on sale at the colliery was bars of soap which had PH B stamped on it, { Pit Head Baths} Dad would bring some home and told my brothers and I to wash our face and hands with the soap then splash our faces 5 times with cold wage and we’d never have any zits or dry patches and we never did! I’m over 70 and still splash my face every morning and every night with cold water, unfortunately the PHB had no anti wrinkle magic ingredient. Fortunately I although being in my seventies I have only laughter and smile lines definitely no wrinkles 😂😂😂😂
