Seeing this, as well as one episode in particular of the Goes Wrong Show, makes me wish Mischief Theatre would be given control of the "Carry On" franchise. They are the only team of performers and writers i would trust to do it right. Hell, adapt the comedy about spies as a Carry On film, i know they already did Carry On Spying, but let's face it, they did 4 hospital based Carry On films. One more about spies wouldn't hurt. Mischief theatre really would knock a new Carry On out of the park in a way i just can't see any other team being able to accomplish. Their work already reminds me of the best Carry On films. (the early ones, back when the characters actually had depth. Always felt bad for Kenneth Connor. He went from playing actual characters, like a boxer scared that his fans and even his own son will forget him if he's out of the spotlight for too long. To just "dirty old man number three" over and over again. Somehow i doubt i'm giving them any ideas. Wouldn't be surprised if this is something they've already tried to do. Fact is, there have been so many attempts to revive the franchise. But again, Mischief is the only team i'd have full faith in being able to actually do it. If someone from mischief sees this, you don't have to respond, obviously. I just hope my comment brightened your day, if this is something you've wanted.
