Do you think this has to do with him being an immigrant? My dad is the same he cannot relax or sleep in he always needs a project especially when it’s for his daughters. I just moved out on my own and my dad asked me if I need stuff done around the house so I always make a small list. It makes him feel useful and I love having him here

Having parents are so important... My dad is like your Dad, hardworking and always helping his children have a happier, better life. Watching your dad help clean and build your bathroom made me emotional... my Dad is getting older & it makes me nervous everyday. I love my dad so much. Sending lots of love and for your parents to stay healthy.

This is my first time watching a video from you, and I loved every min of it. This might sound weird, but I legit cried when your parents left. We come from two completely different backgrounds, but I felt like it was me and my sister in the kitchen singing with my mom. Thanks for giving me 34 mins of relaxation while watching this! I love these vlogs w yr parents so much! I’m from the south and my mom cooks nonstop when we’re together... my grandpa built homes back in the day so my dad can fix anything around the house, built a deck for my sister and redid both bathrooms. Watching this makes me appreciate my family more!

I just discovered the comfort of Sophia Chang's vlogs! This one especially makes me smile all the way through. I am not yet able to own a house, but when I do, I imagine my parents coming to visit and help set up looking something like this. With Mom cooking and Dad fixing up little things around the house. I love watching your family vlogs. I am Korean and was adopted into a white family when I was 4 months old. They are the most loving family I could ever ask for. But sometimes I do wonder what it would be like to speak Korean and eat and cook traditional Korean dishes. Being able to watch your family vlogs is so sincere and special and I just thought you should know that. You are very blessed.

i can tell your parents love y’all so much and they would literally do anything for you and your sister ❤️i always felt frustrated about the language barrier i have with my korean parents, but seeing your parents do all these things for you (renovating your house, preparing food, helping you with work, etc) without even complaining once reminds me that my parents mainly show their love through acts of service too 😭

Love this vlog and love your family! ❤️ I feel like guys aren't as handy as they were back in our dad's generation - so sweet of him to work on your house during your parents' visit with you!! Reminds me of my dad who can do/fix anything house/yard/car related, which is something that comes in handy when you're an adult and A) can't do it yourself and B) don't want to be broke paying for it...acts of service is a great love language!
