If I get my own place, I'll have my layout installed during the moving-in process so I have room to work. If I have to have a house built, it'll go in during construction so all the wires are tucked away neatly. I love trains, and I need to have a layout that works. As long as it's functional, I don't care if it looks like a kindergarten drawing.

27:45 They made mention of wifi, but I couldn't make out the context. It would be nice if in some future episode of Eric's Trains you might visit and interview what is going on with future command and control of 3-rail O-gauge. The track-1 railroads are going lithium battery and using aerial drone influenced remote controls. Lionel O-gauge I think captured the caricature of railroading in the best preference at least for American railroad interpretations. That middle rail solves the difficulty of suppling power through typical prototypical railroad track switching situation that can't be met with simple two rail railroadlpower supply. Severing as the librarian for the Naptown railroad in Indianapolis IN (HO) about 2010 I read numerous articles of 0-gauge modelers from the 1930s-40s-50s that would switch from a center power rail to an outrigger rail such as used typically on subways so their models would have the more proper 2-rail look. That was the rigor.

They were saying the wifi module is going to be built into the next TIU that they release.

A tip for next year: I've found wearing a mask helps prevent getting sick much more effectively than hand sanitizer. Obviously both help, but if you have to do just one, the mask is much more effective, since most viruses are transmitted by air. I've been wearing a disposable mask anytime I'm in a public indoor space since 2020, and the only times I've gotten sick are when I started to get lazy and occasionally not wear it. Amazingly, I haven't gotten COVID at all (had the flu a couple of times but always tested negative for COVID). They may be a little bit inconvenient, but in my experience at least, masks really do make a huge difference, especially in crowded indoor spaces.
