I’ve started buying eggs from Mennonites with a sign at their driveway instead of the grocery store. Saving $1.50+/dz. from the grocery store pricing. Buy beef from neighbor who grazes in my own pasture and has it processed by Amish butcher. I process my own deer in the kitchen. Guess that qualifies for the grey market meat/eggs?

Moonshine and a few other things are openly traded in Lincoln County, TN. Anyone that wanted it, including the Sheriff, just drove around the back of the house to a window handed the guy his money and left with his stuff. And that's within the last 20 years. Probably like that in most places.

I own a semi, I did about ten loads of meat and bone meal to a pet food company. You have to push and shovel to get it out of the hopper, and it gets all over you. I can't stand to even smell dry pet food anymore.

In California the word is “trade”. I know a chiropractor who trades for many services. From haircuts for him and spouse to meals.

I've been trying to find someone to buy duck eggs to run a special at my restaurant. So if you are reasonably close to a city and thinking about raising something, go to your popular breakfast restaurants and see if they are interested in something

We got a lot of restaurants when we were bigger, none were using duck eggs for breakfast though. Some on top of really cool dishes like one put them on a sweet potato chip appetizer. Bed of fried sweet potato chips, topped with some duck confit and a sunny side duck egg on top. This one customer used 80 dozen a month and wanted more. They eventually decided a dollar an egg was too expensive in spite of selling out constantly. The app was 14 dollars a serving, they could of just raised the price to 15 or even 15.99 and sold just as many and made more profit. But this is the down side of restaurants, many chefs are economically ruh-tarded. Ramping up to serve a customer like this then losing them to stoopid decisions by the same customer sucks.

Another issue with rabbits is the emotional factor. I've eaten wild rabbit (cottontails) but I've also had pet rabbits and it would be really hard for me at this point to raise and eat rabbit. I have no qualms with chickens.

I've been told once you start making lots of bunnies and deal with a lot of them, this tends to ebb off. But we are all different people.

Out of the first twelve videos that were recommended to me while watching your video. There were four anti meat videos. YT algos must be setup by the WEF.
