Need more companies like this. Would take care of a lot of waste .

Good idea. Best to be used rather then on the ocean or landfill

I was wondering when the plastic gets too smooth from driving on it over time and that they would need a groomer machine like the ones used in big cities highways with these scraped groove lines or something into the asphalt. But in doing that would be releasing alot of plastic pieces through the process of scraping. They will have to have a grooming machine that suctions up the particles and pieces at the same time when they eventually will have to scrape it or it will become too smooth and slippery over time.

What about recycling of this new (polluted) asphalt? Is this new asphalt hazardous waste that needs to be disposed of in a landfill?

I wondered the same thing.

Not new to India there are two peoples who invented it already 1.Ahmed Khan, 2.R vasudevan,and the first plastic road was built in Bangalore in 2002 and the person also said it in other video that he got to know about that idea after visiting India

What's the durability? The average lifetime of these roads? Is there any chemical runoff that can find its way into our water?

Estrogen is created from sunlight hitting the plastic.

Yes, we know. That guy patented it so nobody else could do anything with this the last 20 years. Good job.

This can't end well. The plastic will wear away then micro-plastics will end up in the water supply and oceans.
@mdoerkse4 жыл бұрын
Alternatively it could go to a landfill. Will that be any better?
@MyKharli3 жыл бұрын
@@mdoerkse yes in a controlled environment without wear and leaching , ask your kids .
@MyKharli3 жыл бұрын
so all the wear is plastic dust getting into the environment ? What about fires and leaching ? Sounds like a scam to make money with rubbish
