Thank you. I have said this to so many of today's new wrestling fans. So many of today's fans think what AEW is doing is top notch never been done before. Then I have to let them know, Um no WWE did that during the Attitude Era. I mean that technically all AEW is doing is trying to copy the Attitude Era with wrestlers that couldn't lace the boots of the wrestlers that were around back then. AEW says "Where the best wrestle". Sorry, but if that's the case then WWE's slogan should be "Where real wrestlers wrestle". It's also like when us old wrestle fans compare AEW to WCW, unless you was around back then, you won't understand. I mean watching videos and listening to wrestlers talk about it isn't the same as actually watching it and being there when things happened. It's so eerily similar to what AEW has and is doing, it's creepy.

I strongly believe that Taker alone saved the WWE during the monday night wars....Austin, Rock, Triple H nd others came later than him....The N.W.O. was nothing but depicting a dark group which also was inspired by the Taker Character . Hence giving birth to the dark N.w.o. Hogan thus breaking the original Hogan boring character nd even the dark Sting was inspired by him. So this Taker character is absolutely EPIC nd main credit goes to Mr.Vince nd Mark...The way he carried the character. It was imaginary but it felt so real... Noone could have pulled it off for 30 years .....I mean its like he was the only person suited for the character....Then the epic entrances , the epic walk , the rolling eyeballs which we did in school too nd story lines, his in ring Persona, dialogue delivery, ability to do different stunts outside the ring, not to forget his wrestling abilities in the ring which noone talks of much...His ring awareness....Noone is even close to him.

You can have her have no idea what it was like on Monday night watching both shows switching between channels with superstars from the other company showing up and it was so crazy all of the time it was like every week something crazy happened again and then the next week they chopped themselves it was the best ever. People like John Cena but John Cena is not up there with the guys from the best ERA ever in wrestling. Little did we know that it would come to an end and never be the same again we all who live through that era are sad today because wrestling is never going to be as good as it once was. WCW had gold with the NWO faction / angle, but after the initial Hogan heel turn, it was aimless meandering with nonsensical betrayals, turns, etc. It descended into self indulgence on the part of the huge earners. With WWF, there seemed to be at least some semblance of a vision and direction. So it didn't feel as edgy and organic as WCW's output during those few years, at least there seemed to be some sort of structure the audience could invest into.
