First formatted my old Windows Vista PC cuz couldn't afford Windows 7 and last all my data, had to do a bunch of trail and error to understand how things works but when it worked it's great! Always felt Arch was daunting but will try it again

At the moment Raspberry PI are out stock world wide, Orange pis are good and in stock with Rockchip unlike broadcom. I have turingPi2 cluster board but no CM 4 module, eagerly waiting for RK1 compute modules and build a cluster. Once I have it ready, I will come over to demo it for @metamonkeys.(Vijay, Ragu, Jai)

I will to suggest you to try pop os (gaming) and elementary os(development). This are trending because performance and UX which is made above ubuntu os. Made for gaming(pop os). Pop os have separate os for Nvidia users for gaming performance .

Aparam ipa new pc vaangi ubuntu tha use panrathu. No problem still now. Except one time bug happened in laptop, got helped by timeshift .. semma usefull for day to day operations. Big issue is no good games

When i started using Linux 10 years ago i almost use most of the distribution. But to be frank if you want to be productive select a good distro with better community support. Test other distribution in virtual box so that you dont change your linux system frequently. Just installing and using a linux distro doesn't help us in careerwise. Please dont fall for look of a distro.

@@aathishnithin.v4607 So I've multiple HDDs And old 512mb Nvidia graphics card 4gb ram In my main HDD it's 20.04 as it has the best compatibility for the graphics card driver version. From 20.10 the driver crashes the system (Any kernel after 5.8 has this issue). In my others, I've to disabled the properitory one and use open source drivers only, here gaming will take a hit but everything else is much faster and stable. I've used upto the latest ones of Ubuntu, pop_os, Linux mint, mx Linux, blend and elementary os. All work great no issues at all. If there's a graphics card involved it gets a bit tricky esp if it's an old amd graphics card.
