In these early videos I am keeping track of what does well or not so I can focus the future of the channel towards (but not exclusively in) the direction of games that ya'll would be more likely to want to see. I'm also trying to figure out if the JP arcade video is doing well because dinosaurs or because arcade, but I'm not supposed to tell ya'll that.

It’s crazy to me that dinosaurs haven’t been milked in media more than they have.

I put it down mostly to costs, lack of awareness from the creative heads, and everyone and everything arbitrarily deciding that dinosaurs is a kids thing. Pretty much every dinosaur related video or game on the internet has children's media recommended right beside it regardless of content, unless it is specifically Jurassic Park. Even museums have to cater their dinosaur exabits towards children if they want to hold attentions, which removes it from the minds of people creating non-child specific content.

Great video, really hope we get more dinosaur games in the future. Love Jurassic World Evolution but I'd like some variety. I know there's that one Jurassic World VR horror game but that doesn't really interest me. Regardless wouldn't mind them returning to Back to Dinosaur Island and expand upon it. Making making a full game with or without VR

Now that I've played Robinson: The Journey, I'm happy to say that Dinosaur Island has been done justice. I'll cover it in the near future (planning for July), but I will say that the setting is begging for even more games.

The problem is that The Isle and similar multiplayer animal sims just come off as glorified chat boxes to me. There is definitely an appeal to playing as an animal, but without a story there isn't much separating say, Saurian, from Wolf or Lion on DOS. I think it says a lot that most single player animal sims now days either have a story or try to be as fantastical as possible, both with varying results. Since multiplayer animal sims are limited on story by nature, a lot of the fun usually comes from playing with friends. I not only prefer to play games single player in general, but if I were to invite friends to play a survival game with me, I feel something more complex than an animal sim would be the better option. Not against play The Isle, mind you, but I doubt I'd have the ideal experience personally, let alone have enough to say to make a review over it. I'm glad so many other people can enjoy those games, though.

Since you apparently want to make multiple dinosaur videos, would you like a suggestion? I have a list of favorite animated movies I outright love, and my #1 favorite just so happens to be a dinosaur movie; The Land Before Time! Do you wish to make a dinosaur video about The Land Before Time? It can be a review or a retrospective of its multiple sequels, because believe it or not, I am accepting of the sequels as well. Either way, if you decide to make a KZbin video specifically about The Land Before Time, I will gladly watch it.

I grew up on The Land Before Time and was planning to cover the entire franchise in the future. It'll be a while, as I was waiting for a specific channel goal to be reached, but I've been planning to cover all the movies, the show, all the games, etc. since the beginning of this channel.
