Name one time when a delayed product actually turned out good (minus Breath of the Wild)

The real mistake was giving a release date, and then continuing to add more and more content up until that date. All games experience internal "delays" (part of the iteration process, i.e., "We should add this thing because it makes sense and makes the game better), and there are a lot of games that have publicized delays that turned out good. For example, Portal 2, the highest rated game on Steam, experienced a significant delay and was rescheduled to 2011, a year later. Another famous example, Team Fortress 2, another very heavily acclaimed game made by the same company, had three delays and a development cycle of 9 years. Now, Help Wanted 2, made by the same Steel Wool that made Security Breach, was delayed once by a week, but still has a 94% positive review percentage on Steam. But, maybe that doesn't hold a candle to the original Help Wanted being delayed by several months having a 96%.
