Funny thing is, AT LEAST Frailty mentions that remnant is apparently real crazy stuff and can regenerate near anything. So there's a good chance that, if Michael Afton really is still out there, he looks like a normal person again. I don't really like using Tales from the Pizzaplex as evidence, but I felt it actually mattered here because, y'know, this IS the dang Pizzaplex. But even if he is still a walking corpse or gets fired (applies to both), he can still try to warn everyone. As long as he was an employee, he can technically leave an employee review to dissuade anyone from getting a job there.

Honestly, i wish fnaf 6 was the end of the franchise and all of the aftons actually died, but considering how William is still alive in SB, i really like the theory that Mike is STILL trying to ruin his plans, even after the second fire. I find it really cool how Mike and Gregory could possibly be working together too, it really gives more backup and reasons for Gregory's motives as to why he wants to ruin William's plans and destroy the animatronics, because he is doing it FOR someone, someone like Mike, it's really just Michael's plans and intentions mixed together with Gregory's actions, and the true mastermind behind SB is actually Michael.

I wanna start by saying I’ve seen the evidence relating to Mike being alive in SB online for a while, but it was only recently (after GGY) when I realized this was most likely the case after all. Now that we know the identity of Patient 46 as a fact, its easier to justify BV and Elizabeth’s connections to Gregory and Vanessa, as they are/were Afton’s pawns. Whether we understood it at the time or not, the therapy CDs existed to reveal that Gregory has a significant role in the story of Afton. The fact that this storyline exists within Mike’s room implicates him in this specific plotline aswell. What role would he have if not being the one who wrote the code, thats my take at least. Another stray piece of evidence that may or may not relate, is one of the duffle bag messages. Vanessa reports an incident of somebody randomly calling the police from inside the building during her shift, and not knowing what’s happening. It’d be nice if more evidence existed, but I think this assailant is Mike. I also think you articulated this idea well, biggest voice I’ve heard talk about this idea is Shycrow, but even he seems hung up on “this kind of sucks, but so does SB and modern fnaf storytelling, so its probably true”

this theory is amazing, wow! there's so much evidence for this and it explains the FNaF 5 living room being in Security Breach a lot better than, "Someone just recreated it, just because." it always felt wrong to me that William came back but the person who's been trying to stop him for so long didn't, and this theory changes that! great theory and great video man, the editing was pretty good, especially for someone who doesn't even have 1k subs yet. keep up the good work! :) edit: even with the Mimic Burntrap Glitchtrap theory possibly being canon, it still feels right to have Michael try to stop an entity like Burntrap/The Mimic since the theory suggests that the Mimic is trying to mimic his father.

Pretty interesting and rad theory; I like the idea about Michael trying to contact employees to warn them because that might tie in with the All Staff Meeting Massacre thing where all staff are called to one room and killed. I also like the ideas about Michael's room being inside the Pizzaplex, but it does beg the question: How did that room get there in the first place?

I found my way here thanks to Shycrow's video, which I kind of happened to stumble upon. I love this theory for a variety of reasons. Not the least of which is, there's next to no evidence to support that any of the glamrocks were haunted in the first place, but even less to support a Michael Afton possession. I also think it makes a lot more sense for Michael to be at the top now (sort of) than Mrs. Afton. Considering she divorced William and would have therefore been taken out of his wills and business plans. Or would have at least had no legal claim to anything he didn't leave her specifically. But if people didn't know Michael was dead, he could have easily enough, been slotted into his father's position as CEO. Given the amount of digital communication we see coming from higher up in both the games and books, it's easy enough to assert that he could communicate entirely digitally either through email or some kind of proprietary messenger. I also don't think he even has to have authorized an official room for himself, given how many people just seem to be squatting in the Pizzaplex; Vanny, Greggory, the Protagonist-kun from the Bobbydots (I'm sorry I think his name may have been Abe), so what's to stop Michael from using his all-access security clearance to hunker down and wait for his father to reappear...again. The only trouble is, we don't really see any signs of life in that room, other than the exotic butters being...fresh? Not rotten? Whatever. We don't see a boneless human slithering around the sewers at night, so we can't say with absolute certainty. However, one least thing I'd like to add is that it makes far more sense for Michael to build himself a replica of his family in the basement. The ones he lost by; divorce, fatal accidents and even his own hand. And before anyone asks why his father might be there after all he's done, I would argue that it's not Springtrap he's thinking of. It's the father that he once had before all the rest of this happened. It's not about an accurate representation of his current family, it's a nostalgic longing that he'll never be able to come back to.

Cool theory so far, and I've also come across that evidence that Mike's still alive and getting email alerts. However, it's also possible he's not an employee of Faz Ent, but a hacker, breaking into their systems remotely to spy on them and figure out what these people who restarted the defunct brand are up to. Given other things that seem to be going on, it's possible Mike may be a marked man if he gets physically anywhere near an FazEnt location or employee/manager who's involved in what's going on. I suspect somebody found out about Afton's old research and is trying to restart it. Having Mike, the only known living Revenant to study would be a huge boon to such research, maybe even leading to a major breakthrough.

Very interesting theory! I don't hate this theory but I am not even a big fan about it. I love Mike story and his character and thinking about him coming back again is really cool. The only thing that I don't like is just thinking that first he decide to remain and burn in Fnaf 6 and then after he changes idea. Or It could just simply be that he actually survived. All the point you made have amazing and strong evidences. As I said before this theory is pretty cool but at this point I would prefer him being possessing Glamrock Freddy. It just seems a little off at this point after 1 year of theorizing why he was acting different and his possible possession they just come out and say, well no it's actually just a really advanced robot. There were all lot of evidences that seemed to point that Mike wad possessing Freddy. In the end your theory was amazing and I couldn't wait to put my hands on it. Love this but hate to say this the filter has a high light contrast flicker might cause a trigger to those with epilepsy. I have a daughter who has it typically the old flicker filters dont trigger but when it has a strong color contrast it can its people who fall under light sensitivity. I really like this theory though.

My bet is he is the head of security. The identity Fritz smith was used back when Micheal was doing security guard positions, meaning that the company would recognize that name. Being somebody with a wealth of experience and who has worked for the company in the past and would want to do so again, I bet he was rehired for his old role. As the head of security, he would presumably know the ins and outs of the building, which is why he was able to find the secret room and recreate his old room there. As for why Vanessa became a security guard, I bet Mike became suspicious and hired her to keep a close eye on her. As soon as his suspicions are confirmed by the whole GGY situation, he activates Gregbot with the knowledge that Vanessa is bad.

To Michael actually being portrayed as Vlad(not his dad Afton) with his recent death(undead) be impossible to have a child...why Vlad tells Clara the baby is not his(probably around his recent death time frame after being scooped if he did have a lover name clara) also Michael shown to be funny/prank and Vlad personality is shown to be joking manner as well.. I honestly don't see Afton as that. plus vlad night shifts(Michael night shifts etc) this could mean Gregory if by miracle(Clara-unknown mother) had the child.. a son,(Michael refused to see him because he thought impossible after his death..or he thought he managed to stay alive after scoop, but later realized he was dead as shown in his transition to undead) later Gregory the grandson.. explaining why he looks similar to Michael late brother. also he shown to be smart with computer/hacking similar to Afton family.

I like the theory, but I honestly wish a character in this franchise would actually die. Security Breach undid FNaF 6 and that upsets me. But also, saying the footprints were Mike just because we see him barefoot once? And Scott confirmed a long time ago that the FNaF books are in a separate continuity than the games, so saying GGY actually happened is kind of a stretch. And, also, just because the eyes being purple means William controlled him doesn’t at all remove the possibility that he could be possessed…because who said that if he was possessed by Michael his eyes would change? Also, the cutscene in FNaF 6 isn’t really proof…there’s a cutscene with a certificate after EVERY FNaF 6 ending. The certificates exist for one reason: proof that you got that ending (as it shows up on the main menu). Honestly, I like the theory and your effort, but the strongest piece of evidence is definitely the email.

So we got Mrs Afton as CEO of Fazbear Entertainment and now Michael is still alive. So Michael is trying to stop his mother from reviving Williams, not knowing Glitchtrap is the evil soul of Williams and wants nothing but carnage. Yes, people say it's Mr Burrow but in order to revive the franchise, you need the permission and approval of any remaining relative of either Afton or Emily. Mrs Afton is the last Afton alive so she calls the shot. Mr Burrow is just a pawn to hook up Glitchtrap into the Pizza Plex server. Once he's done, Glitchtrap killed him and GGY takes over until he suffers reprogramming and went rogue, as well as forgetting his true identity.

@@Can_think_of_a_name Easy, there's no official confirmation she's dead. Meaning she's still alive and in her 80's. I'm aware people thinks Vanessa's backstory is a confirmation she's dead except Vanessa isn't Elizabeth Afton, only brainwashed to be like her. Her real mother did un alive herself after losing the court case to her husband, who just happened to be named "Bill". Vanessa was purposely chosen as Glitchtrap's host because she's a dead ringer of Elizabeth and she is a broken woman without a mother.

@@Can_think_of_a_name But the Immortal and the Restless shows Clara stays with Drac despite his flaws and actions. This implied Mrs Afton still loves Williams despite everything he had done. And remember, she's a broken woman. The idea that GGY is a replica of CC, Vanessa was chosen as Glitchtrap's host and brainwashed to be Elizabeth Afton (as Vanny persona), and Scraptrap was excavated through Glamrock Freddy, and Gregory's room that shows a family table with the mother as the head of the table shows she wants to rebuild her family.

TLDR: Michael dies in that meeting he set up which is why we dont see him or any other human staff member in the game Explanation: I don't remember if this was a glorified fanfic turned headcannon turned accept theory but I saw a video saying that during Vanessa's take over of the Pizzaplex she lead all of the employees into an employee meeting during which she sent in either the animatronics or the staff bots to go in a kill everyone in that meeting (I believe there is one of those faztapes? that takes place moments before the meeting). If that theory is true then I'd say that it's possible that Micheal finally met his end during that staff meeting.
