This man had the public stamp of approval from both MJ and Kobe, who hardly ever openly gave those kind of props. And had defenders so shook they'd fake illness or injury because they didn't want to guard him. Add on top if that, he hadn't even reached his true prime yet!!!!!!!! I really hate what injuries did to guys like him, Grant Hill, Penny, TMac, Arenas, etc... But those other guys had their prime cut short whereas D Rose wasn't fully there yet and already an MVP.

Man the craziest thing nowadays is the fact that there are fans out there that either don’t remember how great he was…or just never got to see him in his prime. As a heat fan, a 22 (22!!) year old Derrick Rose had me shook. But I always loved his game. Quick…explosive….with godly body control. I swear they had to make the acrobat badge on 2k based on this man 😂😂 One of my favorite guards ever, i pray he gets a ring before he retires!

it's so crazy nowadays to hear people say things like "D Rose didn't deserve his MVP" or "He was just a hyped up Ja Morant" like bro, he got his team to the #1 seed in the East DURING the Miami big 3 days, swept the season series against the Heat, won an MVP, even after his injuries he was STILL in the conference finals and hitting game winners against the LeBron, Kyrie, and Love Cavs. Ja Morant can't even get out of the 2nd round with his other two appearances being gentleman's sweep first round exits, not to mention Rose actually finishes his dunk attempts. "Only MVP to not make the hall of fame" is such a crazy thing to say especially when you look at some other names that have made the hall of fame. D Rose was a monster and the fact he suffered multiple knee injuries and was still starter caliber after shows pure dedication.

I used to love watching bro play. My broke days in college we used to sneak in dorms lobby’s on msu campus just to watch him play

D. Rose has been my guy since he played for the University of Memphis. My favor Tiger, My Fav Bull , my fav Knick, my fav TWolve AND most definitely my favorite Memphis Grizzlie. Even tho he from the Chi, you know Memphis as his home away from home❤ We blessed DROSE back

Shoutout to Nate Robinson for stepping up cause a lot of people sleep on him but that little tank was putting up boards for Chicago when 🌹 was out.
