A 3 hour video about LEGO games from Megasnoop? Sign me up! I'm only an hour into the video, but the mentions of the stud limit in the early games made me realize that they probably set it to that number specifically because the 32-bit unsigned integer limit is slightly above 4 billion, so they just rounded it down for a good looking number. Overall though, I am definitely enjoying the video!

I don't have many people around me to talk about LEGO games so here I go. I once talked to a friend and they said that your favorite LEGO game will be the one you grew up playing. I don't know if that's true for everyone, but for me it surely is. LEGO Indiana Jones was one of my first PS2 games and I had countless hours on it. Then I replayed again as an adult through the backwards compatibility on xbox and it still holds up to me. It probably helps that I love the Indiana Jones movies too, but I played the game so much that everytime I heard BGM in the movie I remember the lego game level it belongs to. That's how ingrained into my brain that game is 🤣 It is such a staple not just to me but to my household, that my mom is currently replaying the game alone and sometimes she calls me to know what she has to do hahahaha (she doesn't speak english). But then I never played a LEGO game that didn't come out for the PS2, so I went to play LEGO Indiana Jones 2 as an adult and I was very disappointed for basically the same reasons you mentioned in the video. So then after that I never played any LEGO games anymore cuz I thought the LEGO game series just wasn't good anymore hahahaha. I was surprised when I saw the video description about how many there were and once I saw the video I was surprised by how many are actually good games. LEGO Lord of the Rings and City Undercover particularly called my attention and I might play them! I want to congratulate you for the video because it was very long but you managed to make it funny and entretaining during all of it. The commentary and editing is nice and fluid (shout out for 14:30 must've taken quite a time to do it irl just for a few seconds in the video) and surely it must've taken many hours to play all the games! I hope the youtube algorithm makes this video get the attention it deserves!

I've spent the past few years of my gaming time going through all the Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, and Marvel games (as well as Incredibles). The only one I could not complete was Star Wars Clone Wars, the RTS levels were horrendous to me and I could not do them let alone the full game and 100% it all. The only game I completed that I had notable problems with was Indiana Jones 2...so many bad game design choices. Hard to pick a favorite game overall, but Incredibles was absolutely OOZING with personality in all the best ways (hunting the Pixar cameos was one of my favorite times in any Lego game), and my 100% playthrough didn't overstay its welcome at all (was one of the quickest ones, thus, the most replayable). The first Batman one is the most nostalgic for me from childhood.

Clancy Brown also voiced Lex Luthor in the DCAU shows like Superman The Animated series and Justice League and Justice League Unlimited in the 90's and 2000's. It was so cool to hear his Luthor voice again in the Lego Batman/DC games.

2:38:19 Okay SO The gold ninja also has lore importance, basically the gold ninja was prophesized to defeat an evil entity known as The Overlord. They're also more powerful than the green ninja. So the green ninja, in order to become the gold ninja, has to achieve inner peace. So Lloyd had to do this in season 2 in order to defeat The Overlord or else all of Ninjago would be destroyed. No pressure!!! (also it is true that aaron has never watched ninjago, I was one of the people saying the show is better than the movie and that the movie fumbled the lore. I was in chat writing paragraphs about the lore. Lloyd's element being energy and not just "green" is IMPORTANT, OKAY.)

Here's one for you, Lego Star Wars the Clone wars. If at any point you activate 2-player mode, you lock out any trophies/achievements that requires you to do it in single player meaning you literally have to start a new save file to get said trophy/achievement such as destroy 500 gold bricks etc.

Okay so I play plenty of legos games. First stars wars. My cousin had the second Lego Star Wars on GameCube. Funny enough the case it came in was the first one, but we played it a lot. Now I wanted to play it again because we never finish it because either got stuck and no GameCube save card. He don’t have his copy so I was gonna emulate but the site I get my stuff took it down and I remember there the wii version my other cousin had so I been replaying the original trilogy that way. I know with my other cousin I played the first Batman game. I played the first marvel game once. My little brother owns the incredibles one. I think I should play the skywalker saga and villians now because of this video. Yeah pretty much now have the urge. Also I should finish the lego ninjago movie since it was given free at one point so might as well. I watched the original series so yeah I was thrown off a lot, but it had the series intro song in it so that takes off half the criticism for me. Also I got the Lego Harry Potter game on the App Store free also? I don’t remember that one tbh. Love this video and now I gotta play some Lego games 💀

They weren't made by TT Games and didn't follow the formula of the others so they weren't included in this video But I absolutely played ALL of them as a kid. LEGO Stunt Rally and LEGO Island 2 were my FAVORITES! There was also LEGOland which was like Roller Coaster Tycoon but with LEGOs and that was pretty cool!

The fun fact is that the first Indiana Jones movie came out BEFORE PG-13 was created as a rating. During that time your movie was either G, PG, or R. And since it wasn't crazy enough to be rated R, it was defaulted to PG. I'm sure if it was reevaluated into current day, it'd be considered PG-13, but even knowing all this, it was fun to make a joke about it.

I thought it was going to be too pricey, although it can be, but I just bought the whole starter kit separately for 40$ in total and i’ve found a good bit of fun packs and team packs for less than 20$ on ebay and other sites. It is super fun when you get to play it. This would be my replay but it is still just as great.

I did end up playing it a lot more than the video led on. The exploration aspect was pretty fun and I collect most of the Master Pieces in most of the levels. I think I got burnt out when it came to trying to build all the extra stuff in the LEGO Worlds type planet 🤧

1:45:27 I appreciate you erring on the side of caution, but you don't have to worry about offending people with "queer". It's not viewed as derogatory anymore (unless you specifically use it that way). At least, it's much less offensive than it was in the past. I call myself queer, and many LGBT peeps use the word to refer to themselves, and LGBT spaces or culture. Thanks for being kind 😊 It is an odd choice to use it in the level name, but it does also makes sense, considering the "old-timey" language of the time period the game is set in.
