Small correction for the Aerith section: Arcane Ward does do double cast for a single ATB charge, but you still need enough MP for both casts Cloud's Blade Burst and Tifa's Chi Trap are magic based, meaning the damage is based on your magic attack For Red XIII: He will use Stardust Ray in normal fights (mainly when an enemy is staggered) As to who appears in the final fight: It depends on how often you have other party members do stuff during the Whispers boss gauntlet beforehand. There is a hidden point tracker and you gain more points depending on if you use an ability, spell, or limit break. By default, Aerith starts off with the most points, Tifa starts with the second most, and Barret starts with the lowest
