I put in an order for 4 welsh harlequin ducklings. I have 8 khaki Campbell that are extremely nervous, so I’m hoping a calmer duck will help them relax. Welsh harlequin have a reputation for being calm.

so cute fun fact about Welsh Harlequins you can sex them by looking at their bill color if the bill is extremely pink then it's most likely a girl

Hi I love this video, it was very informative and entertaining! I was wondering if you had any tips on taming a drake? I have one I hand raised and he’s become aggressive since reaching adulthood.

I've read that if you put your hand on their head and lower it to the ground it can be a sign of dominance. It also seems like when there is a flock of females and only one drake, he can become aggressive towards humans instead of other drakes like he might if there was more than one. If there is more than one drake with an adequate amount of females, they will establish their pecking order and that's that, but I think when there's only one they become protective of their women and view everyone else as a threat.

I have a year old Drake that was attempting to overmating a young duck and she was actually trying to get away. I did seperate her. I think he chased all the other young ducks and guineas away. I can't prove thatvisvwhat happened but if it were a predator, I don't think they would have all dissapeared at once. What can I do with that drake? Are they agressive to other males?
