Just in case he doesn't mention it in the vid, you can use the teleport stone while holding something like a log or zombie for example, and it will come with you when you port.

Eating cake (and maybe some pies?) before you do research doubles the research points you get, too. Which is really useful when trying to get those blue research points to finish learning tech trees.

Cake does not double the research blue points you earn, it gives ONE SINGLE more blue point per item researched. Not exactly worth the effort when you can merely craft candles to get a few blue points and negate any benefit of eating the food solely for that one more blue point.

Cakes OP plz nerf :) I did merchant's quest for five royal dinners early on by combining gold * onion rings from the tavern, gold * fish from merchant himself and cakes, which always come out as gold * too - no need to learn how to fish, grow plants or properly cook. And the bonus tech points as well, gimme gimme.

You can farm basic rock toombstones and break them appart After, only cost one rock to get 5 blue points. Worth it early game imo

​@@phibs2276 only thing you need to know is that selling coal is broken. Once you spam that you can just buy candles, potions, armor, swords. Anything you need without having to save up.

One thing to note that I haven't seen mentioned is that as you buy items from vendors, they get more expensive the more you buy. For example: carrot seeds cost 9 copper when stock is full, but the last one costs 49 copper. The inverse is true for selling anything other than burial certificates

Burial certificates, and any item that doesn't stack, like steel tools to the respective tier 3 buyer (Cory buys pickaxes, Krezvold shovels and Tress axes). To be fair, this video is ok for beginners to get an idea of what they're supposed to be doing but that's about it. It doesn't explain any min-maxing, no advanced strategies, no optimal setups, so anyone who's played for ~10 hours probably figured all this out.

Here are some additional tips: -If you have the *Game of Crone* DLC, you don't need to clear the blocked path that leads to the quarry yourself. Wait a few days and it will become unblocked for you as part of the DLC content. -If you want to transport two large logs/stones and are having a hard time pushing it or manipulating it around the map, you can put one in front of you while holding the other and quickly hit *E* button repeatedly as you run. This will have your character repeatedly picking up/dropping the logs which kind of makes it stick to you as you are running along.

This actually just happened to me today- the path becoming unblocked. I was panicking because I knew I hadn't unblocked that area yet and I didn't want to be trapped up there. I've played before and when I saw where the camp was, I was hoping it automatically unblocked the path. I was grateful to learn it did. I just bought the DLC. I previously only had the base game Breaking Dead edition (comes with zombies in base game), but I thought I had the DLC too. When I realized I didn't, I bought it because it's on sale right now on Steam. So I'm playing DLC blind.

You forgot to mention, that there is also lots of iron in the swamp and that there is an infinite stone quarry just left of where you unblock the path to the actual quarry. So you can mine stone even before unblocking the quarry and that one does not require the wedges, so it is even better for manual mining.

Well, you missed one of the main tips or no one pointed it out to you. After the ghost appears in the start of the game wanting you to get rid of the body next to him and wants you to throw it in the river "Note" that this body has a real good white skull count so tip dig another spot put that one in the grave to keep its white skull account and wait until the donkey bring the next body it will be a very low count of white throw that one in the river.

One thing you can do at the very start before you go to the bar tender is check out the garden. Then you can talk to the bar tender about it while you are over there and buy seeds before night fall. This gives you a day's headstart to grow carrots and make carrot cutlets.

This is one of the best guides I’ve seen, and thankfully for a game that is really confusing and overwhelming for a beginner. I’m only sorry that I haven’t found it earlier, I’m on day 200 now. Only now I found out about teleporter stones lol… Btw I think one of the best energy sources is 12 apple trees that drop 15 apples each, 10 quickly make 5 juices that give 12 energy each… so 180 apples each harvest, thats 90 juices x 12 = 1080 renewable energy with almost no hassle. For early game, supercharge your graveyard by planting lawns. They only cost stone and peat, which are either free or very cheap. Leave the lawns in place until you can start filling the graves with corpses of grade 12 or higher white skulls.

This isn't actually relevant to _Graveyard Keeper,_ but in medieval England and Scotland there existed a land designation referred to as a 'Glebe'. The Glebe was the land that supported the ecclesiastical parish it was part of. Since your church is established by the Bishop as a Priory, much of the land the Player Character makes use of would be made part of the Glebe. Lay Members of the church, farmers from the village, or tenant farmers bound by serfdom to the Priory, would have worked the land for the members of the clergy who ran it. However, due to the rather poor state of affairs in wherever it is you're isekai'd to at the start of the game, you're forced to find an... _alternative_ source of labor for your needs.

My favorite tip is taking notes as you play. I love this game but after playing for 150+ days I had to restart and begin taking notes. The number of details (quests, schedules, alchemy recipes, autopsy notes, etc.) can be a bit overwhelming.

Tip: You can get infinite Green Points by shovelling the clay node. This works best with the Steel Shovel as you get 1 point per 1 energy spent, or 99 points per resting period. Just right click and delete the clay after you finish shovelling it. EDIT: Tip 2: Once you open the church basement, #2 priority is getting Silver, the ability to smelt it and the perk that lets you find it more often. The one-and-only use for Silver is for selling it to the merchant for *HUGE* profit. It's easier to just farm silver than it is to grow crops to put into crates, TBH.

Just a theory, but maybe Greed isn't represented in the week because its character is Comrade Donkey, and the game wouldn't really work if Comrade Donkey always comes at a set time. Since Comrade Donkey can arrive on any day, Greed flows through the entire week.

Pretty sure that Greed is the player character. Not even necessarily the player, but the character you're playing. The GK does everything for a quick buck (BBQ at the witch burning, selling human flesh, getting fake stamps, enslaving zombies). It gets even more explicit in the Game of Crones DLC where NPCs repeatedly talk about how you only do things for compensation. I'd argue that anyone who calls the donkey greedy only shows they're greedy themselves. I mean, if you're not even willing to feed the sentient being you rely on for your work, that's pretty greedy of you, and everything else the donkey is involved in is either part of his quest (that is decidedly not about money at all, plus you always get something more valuable in return) or he gives you everything free of charge (his hair, Carl) after meeting him on an ideological level. Donkey is probably the least greedy character in the game...

This game hits all the warm fuzzy spots I'm looking for until I get about 10 hours in and spend 20 minutes going in circles to every crafting machine, never finding the thing I'm looking to craft, and I exit out of it confused and exasperated. This video was really helpful, although I noticed in many of the parts you blurred the background AND the items you were trying to keep in the fore-ground. What editing software do you use? I use davinchi resolve, it's the most powerful and also free without watermarks. (It does take awhile to learn it though)

Thanks for the feedback! Davinci Resolve is a great program and I recommend it to a lot of people! It is what I use, there was incompatibility with photo editing software and video editing software! Should have the problem fixed in future videos 😁

After some time donkey will refuse to work for free and will ask for carrots. The game tells you it can take only 10 carrots in the box but you can put more in to it. Just spam as much as you need and you are good to go for a week or two. But make sure you have the room for it. And also you don't get corpses on church days

This game has many things to do and learn. An extra tip would be buy *speed potions* , witch sells them for 1 silver a piece and has 5 in stock which it will last for a week and a half. Once you start using them, they are like drugs you can't do it without'em. Oh and also make sure to use *a bowl of sauerkraut* , for slow methabolism effect before using potions. *Life hacks*

😅 so I came across this game on PlayStation store and I was surprised it was on sale for about 80 to 70% and I thought about it because I enjoy RPGs and maybe wearer but not one for morbid or McCobb type games. Eighty-two 70% on sale who can beat that so I decided to why not get the game considering the title as well as the expansion packs to the game I noticed the titles were very hilarious. And after watching your video I couldn't help but find it absolutely hilarious as well and helpful. The mechanics of the game were very similar to other games I've played before in the past and I figured if we can be pretty simple however it was rather tedious when it came to give me energy and making sure you were able to complete your tasks in a more organized manner. Course I run around with my head cut off trying to figure out what to do. But as it's by myself to doing particular tasks first and realizing how things were coming about despite the lack of tutorial. I enjoy the characters like Jerry the talking skull and the Communist donkey!😊 Also was able to get the church open pretty quickly though my perspective it took one night (irl)complete that task. But it was fun nonetheless. 9 minutes does for whatever reason take a long time but for some reason the days of the game go by rather quickly but nevertheless I'm grateful for this guide which I'm going to read over and over as if it was of "the word"😂. I want to see you have anymore helpful guides to this particular game.

For food, I honestly would highly reccommend red jelly. It only takes slime (which I always seem to have) and the berry juice(not sure if that's the actual name but it shows up in the same area as the jelly). The berry juice only requires apples and berries, which is really easy to get in passing when visiting the astrologer, but is especially easy if you buy the saplings from the witch and plant them in front of your house. For research, buy paper from the astrologer (or turn skin into pig skin and then into paper on the church workbench) and study it, it becomes 2 science, and science is the only resource you need to study the parts you get from your "volunteers".

Wine is even better. You need one zombie vineyard, one porter zombie, one zombie winery and you have an infinite supply of gold quality wine (which restores ALL your energy) with 0 work and 0 supply line issues. You can then expand into more vineyards, eventually get a 26-skull zombie on the winery and even make money hand over fist through the tavern. It's a lot better use for your first couple of zombies than getting logs which are basically growing on your doorstep anyway.

Great point! The best way to get science points early is to use clean paper on the study table! The best ways to get clean paper are to buy them from the astrologer for 1 silver, or to turn human skin into pigskin paper and then into clean paper on the church workbench! You can also use chapters and books on the study table later on! Hope this helps!

first off you can get blue skill point books from the scolar to open this shop talk to the poeit that ask for paper and this will open the scolar shop just buy the paper and ink until you unlock the second teir then buy the blue point book once you unlock stone head stones making them gives blue points too and you can recycle them to get stones back

Great guide, the game really overwhelms you with a lot of stuff and barely explain a lot of it´s main mechanis, for example i´ve played for almost 100 in game days and just now noticed that theres an iron vein near the quarry (thanks). The only thing that I REALLY disliked is that only zombies remember decompose recipes (wtf !), makes me sad because I really didnt want to make zombies (and sell flesh) in this playthrough

The last time I played this I think it was one of the headstones I was making to get blue points and then recycling them only losing 1 stone in the process. You can make wooden, stone, and marble repair kits. You'll be able to find them in the tech tree. You should also get a couple in the very beginning of the game. Often it's easier to just get the materials from either chopping trees or mining and simply make a new piece

Yeah there is! If you're referring to the old headstone you can either repair them with the repair kits or replace them. Bushes can be cut down, and almost everything else is repaired as you go through the game!

@@bobthetrader8078 you can use the stone cutter or the chopping block to recycle the stone items into stone pieces and the wood elements into firewood. It's much easier to make new ones than to crafting the items to repair it all.

Good questions! I think I covered sand in the resources section, but water buckets can be pulled up from the well in your yard, and then you can use the bucket in your inventory to get water! Hope this helps!

You can get the church open way faster by repairing the existing gravestones/fences than by spamming corpses.Problem will be gaining the clay necessary for Stone fences and headstones. just swap those out for new ones, until you gain access to clay and can repair the old ones. Keep all skulls white on the graveyard, otherwise the ghost will try to scold you.

It's easy! Just use any paper-based item, like paper, books, chapters, or stories inside the study table!

i know the vid is old, but in my opinion, its a waste to put a zombie in the iron mine. they can find no gold. its more usefull put the stone and iron zombie u mentioned onto porter duty and or atleast the iron one and rather crank out the iron chunks yourself and just let them deliver it to your base
