One thing to add on top of your mod installing section that I figured out after spending many painful hours modding Skyrim is that you don't have to copy/paste the mods from the PC downloads to the MO2 downloads folder. You can simply drag and drop them into the downloads section in MO2 itself. If you can't view the downloads in MO2 on the right hand side underneath the launch options you can switch between "data", "plugins", and of course "downloads".

Hi I've spent 74 in-game days into Gamma and I did really enjoyed every single bit. But But I gave up on that fake immersion ...one playthrough with that super immersive healing system ...and zero immersion when : -Using the Vice -Disassemble items -Field strip weapons out of tin air -Putting back into the weapon the repaired parts out of thin air -Repairing components -cooking mutant food ( not even a camera wobble animation) -Fixing weapons is instant -Fixing armor equipment is instant -moving artefacts from inventory into LLC or AAM is instant -opening doors -grabbing items Because if Gamma is immersive I'm king of England There is 100%more immersion on Anomaly I wish I can find mods to add more animations in Anomaly...gamma is just a collection of 400 mods which 200of them are there to keep the shit working and 100 are just to add that damn unrealistic healing system....at the cost of the above immersive animations .

I played expedition recently (i like to use it to record cinematics for my videos, on of my fav mod packs graphically), mind it was the standalone version, but there was literally no installation do to, just download and play! Not too sure about the "mod" version, is it hard to get going?

Potato rig user two cents, if you are in doubt about the modded binaries I personally had an improvement in stability and frame rate by using them. I also held back from using Mo2 for the longest time and honestly learned to regret it given the large size of anomaly. Points gratefully pointed out by Cheeki Breeki. Great vid 👍

Did u find anything good on performance for Gamma? Even after your guide, I get average fps, while my pc is good. Maybe you could recommend what mods are best to disable for fps gain?

In the GAMMA launcher (that you use to install/update) you can try to use "delete reshade DLLs" (and do a small update after un-ticking everything else I guess). Grok recommended to do that recently for people who have perf issues, I havn't tried myself yet tho

@@CheekiBreekiTv Oh, and I found out that disabling shaders (which caused my game to crash even if I deleted that one thing) and enabling prefetcher dramatically improved my fps, up to 140 in some instances which is absolutely crazy compared to the max 80 from before

There is a menu you can access to limit your cpu. If you change some parameters, you can achieve the full potential of your pc. I forgot the name, but its smth about BIOS

The very first step does not seem to work. Dragging the contents of the modded EXEs inside the game DOES NOT show the "Game running with modded executables". I'm following every step precisely, but I think the EXEs might be out of date, or just not working anymore? IDK Seems I'll play this game unmodded because the most basic of pre-requisites doesn't work. ^^'

When I download mods from MODDB, I don't get single files to install using MO2. I just get a whole folder full of shit that I typically have to drag and drop into the Game Directory, how do you get a single download file to install directly into MO2?. Anyone have any tips I've been playing vanilla anomaly, have downloaded and redownloaded it 4 or 5 times but still don't have any of the inventory sprites or textures what ever you want to call it. All guns meds and equipment either looks like a bunch of random meshes or gas masks and cigarettes in the inventory page but they work fine when equipped in hand

is it possible for modpacks such as Gamma to just provide a zipped version of the working fully modded game folder instead? maybe you wouldn't be able to turn addons on/off individually at least not as easily - but playing the full version the way the devs compiled it beats the hassle of installing some of this shit (even if there may be an add on or two that you don't like)

​@@CheekiBreekiTv I can't forget that one moment in a playthrough you uploaded some time ago in which you were fighting about 30 monolith soldiers who were storming the Army Warehouses and you were holed up in the guardhouse there... You were silent the whole time and at one moment you were reloading against a Monolith guy who was looking directly at you and trying to unjam his weapon, it was just like that one scene in Saving Private Ryan where two soldiers run out of bullets and throw their helmets against each other xD It could very well be one of the most epic Anomaly moments ever uploaded! In my playthroughs no factions make war with each other, they just stand in their static guarding positions. I've rarely seen two rival squads fighting each other, other than the occasional Cordon and Garbage Stalkers vs Bandits skirmishes. Don't know what they adjusted but the zone feels like it is less alive with less Stalkers roaming around even though there are tons of mutants and they even team up with each other..

What is the difference between bullet, rupture and impact resistances ?

Bullet resistance reduces the damage guns do, rupture reduces the possibility that you will bleed after being attacked by a mutant for example, and impact is related to poltergeists throwing things at you ( i think))

Fuck. I've always had this problem with Gamma and was hoping Anomaly wouldn't do it. Everyone tells me it's security on the PC not allowing it to finish because it thinks it's malicious and you have to disable and allow exceptions in the registry and all this and that but I've used moddb since it came out..... I've never had downloads just hang... But I do for these Stalker mods.
