The mountain pass location is best, because when you purchase the turret on the high ground point, it stays active when you rotate points and will assist you on the two other nodes killing anything that walks in front of it

I don't see why they don't make EVERYTHING matchmade. For those wondering for those servitor or captain rounds, using winterbite with either synthos or wormgod with banner of war worked really well, the melee was doing so much damage and the freeze ball was very helpful. Using this as an melee only build worked all the way up to legend wave 47 at which I switched off before losing at wave 49 AND WE DIDNT EVEN LOSE TO ENEMIES, WE JUST FORGOT TO DEFUSE BOMBS. don’t sleep on winterbite

I'm so glad for the return of The Whisper mission. The infinite Thrall room was always my favorite spot for catalyst grinding, and with it being back in the game, it's great for getting the attunement bounties done.

@@atheontimesconflux1067 Yea The Recluse one is very difficult on the new game mode. There is a Lightfall mission (Breakneck) that has a room where tons of red bar enemies spawn. You start the mission and you go through it until the room where you set the rally flag, you have to clear everything on that room EXCEPT the Hydra boss otherwise it messes up the checkpoint (so get yourself killed by the Hydra or use a heavy GL or rocket on yourself to restart the mission) and instead of starting from the beggining, you start where you place the rally flag, so you can clear the room and restart over and over and over again. Pretty chill if you want a change from Shuro Chi.

Something to note about turrets is that they will stay around even when u move ADUs this is very big on vostok where the enemies spawn near other ADU locations where u arent at and will just destroy enemies

An important tip that no one tells you: "Don't waste heavy ammo on boss encounters." Just use a good primary (like Polaris Lance, or even Wish-Ender) for boss DPS, and make sure that you have full heavy ammo for the next set of waves.

I found that the two tailed fox is good, not only for dps and ad clear, but against tormentors I found it to be good especially since it suppresses them (or "stuns" them)

I don't believe these tormentors are getting stunned or suppressed. Since all the tormentors in there have a name and they are bosses, the don't get blinded or suppressed. Maybe levi breath can stun them for a second.

DON’T SLEEP ON THE DECOYS y’all. It completely changes the direction the enemies go toward and distracts them from attacking the obj. Also if you have a gun with an AOE perk on it such as incandescent or volatile you can just blow all the enemies up because they group up in front of the decoys.

ye, its a cool game mode and the rewards are amazing. Thats been said, if u are a solo player, gl. Doesnt matter if is in the 1600 or 1810 version, if u are playing with randoms, get ready because they are gonna try to play the protagonist guardian, not the teamplay. Enter in the piramid portal first, same with the boss room. Do you want to change loadouts, "im sry, i have to carry" (die first). Same with ammo crates, etc. And if ppl die, which is possible, the heros would be the first one leaving. Its a shame for many solo players and even worse, a lot of new players i've seen (ranks 1, 2, etc).

Just finished Legendary Wave 50 yesterday. My suggestions: 1) Using a grenade launcher w/ blinding grenades like Pardon Our Dust work great for control as it will slow/disorient groups & can give you precious breathing room. 2) Combine w/ AoE weapons like Sunshot/Graviton Lance that will shred groups of common enemies, GL in particular worked very well against sheer numbers. 3) At least one teammate using a build w/ a one shot Super for Tormentors, extended Supers using melee are vulnerable to being instantly suppressed & wasted. 4) Titans using Strand w/ suspend rally barricade & shackle grenades work very well to help control large groups. There will be times you will get overwhelmed w/ numbers, the more control you have the better. These are just my personal recommendations for what has worked best for me & got me to the end☺️

I surprisingly had the Heat Wave occur during my second run of Onslaught & those Tormentors are no joke. There are dozens of them, it seemed like. I actually used my Outbreak Perfected & it was eating them alive with all the SIVA nanites. It was such an awesome sight though. So much fun

Important PSA about the bounties: DO NOT delete the bounties and DO NOT let them expire. If you do there's a bug where it turns them into "ghost" bounties meaning they take up bounty slots preventing you from picking up more if you have too many "ghost" bounties and it can get as bad as if you have WAY too many you can locl yourself out of progressung quests. So best to stay away from picking up a bounty if you think you won't be able to complete it

The only "better" part of suro chi is getting a rally banner but u still have to wipe after so many enemies. It may be better for titan and warlock but I think grasp is way better for farming kills. Doesn't take as long to come back after wipe. If get Orpheus tether hunter with dbl ammo finders it's so much quicker than suro chi. I've been grinding lots of catalysts while in this limbo period b4 TFS and was clearing catalysts in like 15 min. Special weapons can take a little longer due to the types of weapons and ammo drops but grasp and suro both have there + and -

Also for people that haven’t done all the quests yet it seems like you can only get weapons that you have completed the quest for out of the chest in the hall so don’t do all of them and just do one or to for best chance of shiny drops

An added tip 😊 if your defenses have taken damage, you can use the ADU batteries to heal them. Throw them at your damaged defenses before chucking them at the ADU

Made it through the 50 waves. Tormentors sucked!!!! I actually had to deal with the room full of em. Myself and the 2 others didnt die once. Had a solar titan(me), a void hunter and a stasis warlock for a party. It was beautiful to see the warlock freezing damn near everything while the hunter and myself went in for the kills. Took a few minutes to get it done but when we did, it was soooo satisfying lol

I was thinking about theoretically good strategies at work this morning, and hearing you repeat almost all of the points I thought of was very validating (Switching between ad clearing and DPS builds, not spending scraps for the first dozen or so waves, ect)

Shadebinder has been working really well for me, can literally just spam turrets and coldsnaps with osmios, refunding rifts constantly, acrius is also nice for ignoring the stun mechanics of overloads and barriers and just deleting them, eyes is also fun

Ad clear weapons suggestions for each BRAVE arsenal quest (these are some of my personal favorites that worked well for me): Snipers: D.A.R.C.I, cloudstrike Grenade launchers: hullabaloo, anarchy, (idk if forbearance counts) dimensional hypotrochoid Scout rifles: Polaris lance, tarnished mettle with Voltshot Pulse rifles: outbreak perfected, collective obligation, phyllotactic spiral with Voltshot Swords: any sword chain reaction, heartshadow Smg: subjunctive with Voltshot, calus mini tool with incandescent The breakneck lightfall mission checkpoint is also nice for farming ads because of the rally banner that never runs out at the beginning. Kill ads, kill your self, rally, repeat

It reminds me of that one Gears of War game mode. Think it was called horde. I loved that gamemode and this one looks really similar. Im gonna love Onslaught.

That multimach with kenetic tremors also stun locks tormentors! Procs it super quick and consistently.. matter of fact u can proc it faster then they will stun lock.. theres actually a short delay in your ability to stun lock back to back with tremors... it was nice, i was trying salvagers salvo with it but i think im gonna go with disorienting geranades tonight with auto loading holster.. its brutal donking a gernade into orbit then having to reload to try and hit what was missed... honestly killed me a cpl times on legendary cause the pressure was on

A cool thing is if you buy defences and get moved they stay and shoot enemies still so it's also good to just get tier 1s to effect new spawns of enemies since they run to the adu

The normal difficulty waves are set at 1600 light so you can use Mountaintop. It actually performed GREAT! Good damage as it received the buff with the patch and also they changed the frame to the micro missle frame so it does very little self damage if you accidently shoot something or someone right next to you and has increased movement speed. They replaced the micro missle perk where it used to be before the frame to Rampage. Seeing how good it was already… I can’t wait til we can farm for the new one because perks like ambitious assassin are ganna make it S-tier. Definitely saving my tokens for when it is Available! Unfortunately don’t count on the Curated Weapon quests rewards aren’t god rolls like you said. I completed Succession and and Edge Transit and I don’t remember the Succesjon but it wasn’t what I wanted… and the Edge Transot was Envious Assassin and Destabilization Rounds. I was under the impresssipn it they were going to be God Rolls like the curates rolls from Black Armory were. So I’m saving my tokens for when Mountaintop, Hammerhead, and Midnight Coup are available.

Outside of the scout quest, shuro chi is the fastest way to do those weapon quests. Usually less than 6-7 runs

Used Riskrunner for the recluse quest, it took like 25 waves I think. Easy stuff and Riskrunner unironically cooked with so many fallen around shooting me with arc damage.

you don't need anything in particular to deal with the tormentor wave. The secret wave also massively boosts ability and super regen. Just pop your super and pop off

To finish the weapon attunement bounties that I found lagging faster I went to the Breakneck mission on Neomuna and just kept the cyclops miniboss alive until I cleared the rest of the room than had him wipe me back to the checkpoint at the beginning of the add dense room! This is also a good place to manually level crafted weapons... 😁 For the sniper part, I recommend using Whisper or Darci and a matching element special sniper (especially if it also has lead from gold) and putting that element's ammo scavenger mod in addition to ammo finder mods.

my guess is that it leads to the Distributary Quria was both Vex and Taken, spent time in the dreaming city and it was an objective to Savathum at some point it's possible it somehow managed to connect it to it due to how the overall location connects to the light.

The focusing doesn't increase drop rate. It only skews the drops towards that particular gun so whenever a gun DOES drop, it then rolls a 50% chance of dropping the focused one.

Use Parasite for onslaught, there’s enough ads to get up to worms hunger x20 almost immediately, it can be used to nuke high health targets and also it’s good for ad clear. Gls also just got a reserve buff recently, you can hold 17 shots with triple reserves.

While the enemy may be labeled as boss tier in the spark run, I believe they can be blinded. If you don’t want to run invis hunter, blinding nades should do nicely

A couple things, Enemies shooting the ADU while NOT in the ring DONT do damage, they have to be in the ring. The tormenters dont magnetize to the ADU like the other enemies, but they will still do damage to it if they enter the ring. If your team is un the ring, most likely the tormenters will ape you.

11:40 Polaris Lance igninions also can stunlock tormentors if you have perfect 5/5 aim. It also stunlocks knight and ogre bosses in the boss room.

fun fact, before the boss room on the rally flag you can shoot rockets through the door and hit the boss/ kill enemies, been doing this with dragons breath to kill some ads early and do some chip damage, might be worth checking to see if tracking rockets work with this

I think I've played about 10 games total so far and it's pretty easy. Watch for the spawn location, then "blow thy load" with wave frames, solar/void wall grenades, suspend/freeze grenades, blinding GL, Witherhoard, etc. Just unload AoE damage and the enemies rarely ever make it close to the McGuffin device. Rinse/repeat. I'm probably going to stop playing until the Hammerhead is available to grind. EDIT: I'm also playing it safe with my Precious Scars solar build which ensures that me and my fireteam are constantly healing as I get kills with my Explosive Personality wave frame - I crafted one with Disruption Break which feeds into a 50% damage buff for the kinetic slot (Wishender, Revision Zero, Witherhoard, Outbreak, Lumina, and Malfeasance all go really hard). The Avalanche LMG with Rewind Rounds/Target Lock is pretty solid at melting bosses and Tormentors, but ammo is tight sometimes.

One of the best set ups I used with my team is I played defense around our ADA and had Saint-14 helm on, when it would become too much I would pop the bubble so any adds or bosses who were attacking the ADA were blind, I have Trench barrel on my Seventh Seraph Shotgun so when they came in the bubble I would jack-slap em and then shoot em in the face..easy breezy.. it worked fellas. 50 waves done

Make sure you grab the chest, as soon as the level 50 ends. I was worried about my postmaster being overfilled. I ran over to chest, my teammate opened first chest, which spills out, and i pick up. Go into inventory, to delete 2 pieces, and when i came out to get 2nd chest, waa pissed that i missed out, due to the 30 second timer. Ehich, after multiple activities where we have an extended time, after ,...was not expecting this. So, make sure you grab both chests

Just a heads up for the heatwave secret encounter. If u get that encounter ur super energy refill very quickly. So spam ur supers don't sit there shooting the tormentors just keep spamming ur supers.

The skybombers are easily the most annoying bonus in onslaught. It’s the only one where as soon as it’s announced every single member of the team has to sprint to it, or it’s back to orbit

I got all quests done in under 40 minutes farming Shuro Chi in the Last Wish Raid. Ps: Using your DMT plus Outlaw and 3 kinetic reload mods is the best way to farm the scout rifle quest.
