Don't buy it, it's not for everyone. But it's an easy way for casuals to play and experience the Atsri8bit.

ya, I'd say if you are heavily invested in original Atari hardware and its all tricked out, then the mini isn't for you, but for me, casually playing the classic games from my childhood very easily, you can't beat it. My original 800 and 1050 drive from 1980 are still running, for now... the mini400 allows me to finally retire my old hardware (pack it away in reverence and entomb it in bubblewrap) and now not have to deal with flaky/complicated retropie emulation as well. Atari 400 mini isn't perfect; its not a computer, but to expose newer generations of people to an amazing library of classic games, its awesome!

It's also a Celebration of the Atsri8bit that should have done much better but died by Atari's hand because of negligence and the crash of course.
