I remember playing Lumber Tycoon 2 in 2016 for the first time, it was such an interesting game, it kept me playing until 2017, it felt limitless, the amount of biomes to explore, working hard go get an axe, it had an unique charm. I started playing Lumber Tycoon 2 again in 2021 and I realized that the feeling that it gives hasn't changed, after 5 years (2016 - 2021) it still didn't lose it's charm, I mean, the game doesn't feel that limitless as you know the game and how it works, but still. Even with the lack of major updates, cheaters, bugs, the game is still fun and interesting the same it was before, that's what make this game magic.

honestly LM2 is destroyed by scammers and exploiters but still wanted to play it because it gives me a lot of happy memories back then. I hope defaultio make an anti hack or exploits for the destroyers and look forward to the game because the game was a great game to express your skills. i hope so.

Lumber Tycoon 2 IS actually a fantastic game, I met my online bff we had so many memories together in that game and after I met him we started to explore new places around the map and discovering every single detail of the game and were using the updates to create very fun functional things in the game, and I had a very good time trading and meeting people that could be called 'The NICEST People in Roblox'. I appreciate this explaining Electro!

Bro, when they give people free money or dupe rare items and sell them for low prices, it inflates and destroys the game economy. Think about it. Exploiters are the main reason why this game is ruined. Before, people used to grind to progress in the game, and to trade items for fair prices, now all they do is ask an exploiter for stuff. Since LT2 Fan made trees are various in shape, unique and interesting, it would be nice if Josh do Fan Made Tree voting event... Not only we could enjoy the new tree textures for our building, the challenges we got when we try to get the tree, the prices of the tree when we sell them, we also gonna have fun voting the tree and fight with other voters who votes different tree. This idea showed and sticked into my head for a very long time and highly inspired by Minecraft Voting events

The only issue in 2022 is that the grind for axes and wood isn’t as rewarding, because it’s easy to get with free exploits and everyone has “rare” items. The only thing keeping the game going is the ability to express creativity.

before i even mention anything about lumber tycoon, i first just want to talk about how amazing this video, good narrating, you shows lots of photos of things and graphics to keep the viewer entertained, absalutely awesome and now about lumber tycoon, i honestly think if the glitches werent a thing, exploiters were gone, and defaultio was pushing updates, it would be a top page game, i can understand why he doesnt want to continue it, it an old project of his and hes probably just very exhausted and has moved on from it and has simply lost motivation

Two years later, Lumber *is* dying. It's sad to see such a great game slow down, especially with it recently hitting 1 BILLION visits. You can tell Defaultio wants to quit updating, but I think he's slowing down gradually to a halt to prevent the entire fanbase from going after him immediatly.
