Well, Super Sentai is getting more and more recognition because the access to view the show is easier now. 10-20 years ago, you’ll be lucky to find a vhs of a dubbed version of the show in a language other than Japanese.

Interesting extra info on MMPR: it's because of Stan Lee's failure to westernize a prior sentai that this succeeded. The head of Fox Kids was a former Marvel employee that staked her job on getting Fox to accept Saban's proposal for Zyuranger. She was there back when Stan Lee attempted.

I love all Super Sentai🥰 My favorite Sentai are Go-Busters , Goseiger , Gokaiger, Shinkenger, Gekiranger, Megaranger, and Timeranger. Thank you for making this video, I get super annoyed when people say that Power Ranger is the original and Super Sentai is the copies (but it's the opposite) The main difference between Super Sentai and Power Ranger is that Super Sentai fetuses characters going through life growth and develop along the series and focusing their attention on young adults, auduts With more mature sense as for Power Ranger their main focus is targeting kids, young adults and show more friendly sense, characters battle life and not really getting into family/personal life Both frenchie are doing a amazing job! Gorenger & JAKQ were identifed as Super Sentai from the start even thru the "Marvel" era Sentais. But because of copyright issues with Ishinomori Prod., the 2 sentai were removed from the franchise, then later reinstated when the issues was fixed.

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure the go in Goranger is not go as in the Japanese word for 5 isn’t it written in katakana which is generally used for borrowed words? Which would mean it is actually the English word go. I mean no one think Go-Onger is 5-Onger. With Dynaman I had no idea there supposed to be a baseball motif but now I know that, looking at the suits that definitely makes sense. Burai is actually Geki’s adoptive brother. Geki’s father adopted him when he killed Burai’s actual family (think Loki but Japanese). Carranger was meant to be a spoof of itself (super sentai) I’m addition to being an official super sentai. 199 Hero Great Battle is my favourite Sentai movie of all time, the opening with the ranger war with tensou sentai goseiger’s theme music still gives me the feels even the climax of the movie with all the mechas while I feel isn’t as good as it should be hits me right in the goosebumps. Uchuu Keiji Gavin lol. Yes I know it’s Gavan but the way it’s being said sounds like the name Gavin. I thought Hasbro didn’t buy Power Rangers until after (or during) the first season of Beast Morphers. One thing I think Patranger v Lupinranger kind of missed an opportunity for its finale not having the teams work together, instead it feels like 2 different series ending. Also what do you mean it didn’t have a blue ranger? Did Lupin blue not exist? I love the super sentai series and power rangers series. I wish Hasbro hadn’t done power rangers so dirty but hopefully it actually comes back soon.

My favourite would be Ninja sentai Kakuranger. Given that I'm 30 years old this year, it would fitting for me as it was the year I was born. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger should be a staple in terms of storytelling for the Future Shows. This one was perfect! And we had to wait on KingOhger to have this type of flow back to our screens ✨️👌🏾

Gokaiger is a goated series, probably would be my overall favorite if it weren't for their surprisingly disappointing combiner mechs. I guess it's a testimony to how good the rest of it are
