Some Pokemon (such as Volcanion and shiny Gardevoir) in that set might be based on a Pokemon movie, specifically M19 Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.

I loved this set as a kid, I joined when this set came out and it was the only set I really ever got for ages bc it was the one given in this cheap 3 pack + promo thing a local store did. My grandad used to give me the money to go get them until he died where when my dad came to tell me how he had just passed away he made sure I got some as one of the last things he did. I pulled a hydreigon break from those packs and have kept it always on me when I play any card game. Great memories, and my favourite Pokémon set. You may not get the love you deserve steam siege but you’ve always got my heart.

Love this!!! I am working on a gen6 master set of ultra rares and promos, and I had finished up steam siege a couple of months ago. The bisharp shiny dual type holo is one of the coolest cards from the era for sure. Appreciate you!!

That and Garbodor. Thae reason why I chose Garbodor because we nvr got generalized ability lock nowadays, we only got ability locks.... but only to specific group of Pokemon.

I love Steam Siege! MGardevoir EX was and still is my favorite card ever! I wish I was playing at the time because i would have loved to try it at its prime! I'm glad to see this series again, if only for a moment :)

He already did ALL of the Black & White sets. In fact, he already did all of the Wizard of the Coast sets, all of the Neo sets, all of the Ruby & Sapphire sets, all of the Diamond & Pearl sets, all of the Platinum sets, all of the HeartGold & SoulSilver sets and almost all of the XY sets. He doing them in chronological order

I think the Evolutions one will be the shortest, due to having few playable cards (Starmie, Dragonite ex, Mewtwo), modern day reprint of Base Set, and cool "secret rares".
