Ftp kicked my ass today. 268 ki at 51 years old. Don't know what it means but I improved greatly since I started 3 months ago. I left a lot in the tank on my first test. Today's test, there was nothing left in the tank. Been doing 45 min hitt and am going to go for some longer 90 minute power zone rides.😊

Didn't know this, I will definitely be doing this FTP tomorrow to make the proper adjustments.

I haven't taken a Kendall metal ride since diving into PowerZone training but it's really great to hear those are Z5/Z6+. They killed me.

All good apart from the part about inputting your numbers from the 20 min ride. It should be that score multiplied by 95%.

Thanks for the "teps". Will def work on carb in take to make sure I have enough to sustain my efforts. Curious about the watts. In my last test, the bike told me my FTP was 5 watts less than what is recorded as my average watts. Why the difference? In any event, I am waiting to retest once the temperatures cool. Also, my quads are no longer sore, so I am hoping for the best - they were extremely sore during my last test and affected my efforts. 😩

Discover or Build your Power zone programs on Peloton in that order? I haven’t done either program.

@connect the watts. Should I take Discover and then Build your Power Zone program in that order?

Discover is first, and then you can do Build afterwards 👍
