I have a theory that Miles from 42 is not that evil because his mother will never let him go down the wrong path. The thing is that both Miles and his variant will probably team up to stop the spot from collapsing the entire spiderverse

Pavitr knew about canon events. The way he says, "I can do both," is identical to the way Miles says it when talking about the same event yet to happen in his universe. The purpose of those losses is to build a Spidey's character, and Pav definitely needs a dose of humility to build his own character. But it's the purpose of a canon event, not the event itself, that matters. If the outcome regarding the Spidey is the same, the event has been fulfilled in one form or another. Pav realizing how close he came to losing one of the people closest to him (or both, since it's a canon event for a Spidey--especially a Peter Parker--to lose both Stacys in their life) had the desired effect of humbling him. No longer will he arrogantly claim that being Spider-Man is "so easy." Miles accomplished Pav's canon event without crushing Pav's spirit in the process. Meaning it's Spot, not Miles, who caused that hole in the universe. Gwen's canon event of losing her Captain Stacy was also fulfilled, albeit in an unexpected manner. Is it unreasonable to assume that part of George metaphorically died when Gwen revealed herself? And then he quit the force, effectively "killing" Captain Stacy and leaving only George, father of Gwen. And this did have a profound impact on Gwen, steeling her resolve as these canon events are intended to do, making her a stronger Spider-Woman. And doesn't the fact that this film's Jess is a composite character also technically make her an anomaly? Like Miles, she's the result of two universes colliding in one person. If that's the case, Miguel is a hypocrite.

Oh you to have a good point. About the Gwen canon event. Also, maybe a canon event can be changed when it happens too. ;) Also, Spot could be the one breaking the whole Spider-Verse so yeah.
