Great video. However, there are some things that I wanted to highlight: 1. Rose is NOT M. Bison's student. She is the physical embodiment of M. Bison's good side when he purged all of his good side from him to fully master Psycho Power. 2. Ryu was fully freed from M. Bison's mind control NOT because of the "power of friendship". He needed the Satsui No Hadou to take over him temporarily as per Rose's advice. 3. In SFA3, a. E. Honda was the one who inspired Ryu to travel oversees to meet more stronger warriors. b. Chun Li was the first to warn Ryu about Shadaloo. c. Rose advised Ryu that the only way to defeat M. Bison was at "the cost of his soul" which is to allow the Satsui No Hadou to take over in a brief moment of time. 4. You forgot to include Rose's, Dhalsim's, and Oro's conspiracies about G. 5. T. Hawk and Juli did not return into the Thunderfoot tribe. In fact, nobody from the Thunderfoot tribe knows their whereabouts. 6. In SFA2, it is not Akuma who sought after Ryu. It is the other way around since Ryu was seeking for answers for his uneasiness when he defeated Sagat in SF1. 7. Shotokan was only a mistranslation of Ryu's fighting style in the English localization of both SF1 and SF2. Ryu, Ken, and Gouken's fighting style is only known as Ansatsu Ken. PS: SF7 would definitely be another INTERQUEL bridging the gap in between SF3 and SF6 to give a closure to the Illuminati Saga.

@thesilentsociety3252 As indicated in an old source (way back in the 2000s), Gill is somewhat preparing for the Day of Reckoning where he will lead all of the other people to his Utopia and Alex will serve as the Chosen One and could be the Savior from the Day of Reckoning. I highly speculate that G would be the trigger for the Day of Reckoning and would be the Illuminatti Saga's Main Antagonist.

Let's be honest. Guile and Chun-Li are the main heroes in the Street Fighter series. Ryu is not the main focus. He is more like the poster boy, like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat The 1994 live action film did something right about making Guile the main hero

In the Street Fighter series, Guile and Chun-Li are significant characters with their own story arcs and backgrounds. Guile is known for his military background and quest to avenge his friend Charlie's death, while Chun-Li seeks to avenge her father's death and take down the criminal organization Shadaloo. Ryu, on the other hand, is often portrayed as the main protagonist, known for his pursuit of martial arts perfection and his rivalry with Sagat and Akuma. While Ryu is indeed a central character and often serves as the face of the franchise, Guile and Chun-Li are also key characters with their own importance to the series' lore and gameplay. Comparing Ryu to Scorpion in Mortal Kombat, who is more of an iconic figure in that franchise, may not entirely capture Ryu's role and significance in the Street Fighter series. As for the live action stems from the western need to make the guy who has the American flag; a hero who concurs evil, whilst the big Russian guy was villainized as opposed to the lore.

Finds out about his evil side. SF Alpha 3: Ryu wants to be stronger. Capcom makes SF The Movie canon. SF II series: Ryu wins tournament. SF IV series: Ryu still wants to be stronger. SF V series: Ryu still wants to be stronger but now his evil side wanted a new name. Some guy from middle east wants to save the world. SF III series: A wrestler wants revenge versus a human flag. No one cared, since Ryu wants to be stronger. Trains under a Ryuji Yamazaki wannabe. SF Smash Bros.: Luke is introduced. Ryu is now strong and carries Luke on his shoulders.

Seems like that won’t happen… Unless Unless Sakura at some point later would be on the verge of corruption by the Satsui no Hadō (or Dark Hadou, I don’t know the spelling, I just copied from Wikipedia) and Ryu had teach her how to use the “Power of Nothingness” to suppress the Satsui no Hadō before Akuma uses her to get to Ryu. How Sakura would be inflicted by the Satsui no Hadō could be similar to how JP inflicted Psycho Power into the player avatar.

street fighter 6 has the ultimate story of the series period (just like 97 was to kof ) as for the rest , the stories are so repetetive and frusturaiting same events and fights repeating over and over , and akuma for being the strongest fighter he has no meaningful story developpement at all (still waiting for the day he is finally TOPPELED) same with ryu who hopefully will leave the dark hado saga behind for good and move forward

I wonder what Alex's true origins are? In Gill ending Alex gets to look like Gill's and we do not know about is true father. Also, in SF5 story mode, Alex is locked in a lab and being tested by someone to fight against Ryu. It just seems Capcom may never answer this, since Alex is way unpopular and somehow is connected to another less popular villain Gill.

Idk how to feel with how they are handing the Neo Shadaloo story in sf6....it just seems they are the complete opposite to the way they were portrayed in sfv and none of the members are named at all. The only good explanation is that the Neo Shadaloo mentioned in the story isn't the same as Ed's organization.... I am very disappointed to see a group formed to help those who were kidnapped and experimented on by psycho power just turn around with no explanation and kidnap a guy and experiment on him with psycho power....I need Ed to release ASAP for more info on this....

Ah yes, Street Fighter 1 When Ryu had red hair and wore footwear (it took him decades to wear them again) Birdie was white and Sagat had leg problems. I really like Ryu's SF1 design. He looks fit but not hyper muscular as he looks in future games. He looks cool. Reminds me of why I like Goku's design in the Tournament Arc after the time skip when Piccolo Jr. was the main villain. Again, looks fit but not with too many muscles.

I do wonder, would you mind explaining the Street Fighter shared universe? A lot of people aren't aware, but Street Fighter encompasses a lot of different game franchises. As far as I know, the shared universe includes Street Fighter, Final Fight, Rival Schools, and Slam Masters. There are also Captain Commando, Red Earth, and Strider, which are franchises that are hinted to take place in the SF universe but takes place in different points of the universe's timeline.

For me, I started losing interest in the Street Fighter series once Street Fighter 5 came out. I loved the Street Fighter Alpha trilogy and the Street Fighter EX trilogy.

Same. But I seen to be confused of Street Fighter EX. And I get their attempt to 3d fighting graphics at that time. But man. That attempt was underrated. But that sort of blueprint would end up into street fighter 4. And that game was not just a street fighter savior, a capcom cash cow again, but a revival of fighting game genre in general.

Really great in depth Lore vid I absolutely loved it and some new things I learned as well especially in the Alpha Trilogy the canonical win loss fights like I had no idea Rose defeated M Bison, or Gouken and M Bison fighting and Gouken must have been holding back cause I could imagine him easily annihilating M Bison with eaze as Akuma did during SSFIIT. SFA M Bison was no joke didn’t realize Ken and Sakura were holding him off for Ryu to snap out of mind control while engaging Sagat. So does SF6 happen after SFIII then? If thats the case really kool then so all the SFIII characters and Illuminati Arc are still relevant and I guess that there will be a prequel to SF6 at some point to explain the aftermath of SFIII the timeline between SFIII and SF6 as there is a lot of things unanswered in SFIII imo even with SFV after the fall of Shadaloo and defeat of M Bison you have all this stuff going on with G, a resurrected Seth and obviously Gill and Urien tying back to SFIII and it’s aftermath you got some of the most powerful characters in the SF roster serving as forecoming threats we already know the Illuminati Brothers are much more powerful than M Bison and so is G I imagine so I really wonder how all that will unfold but perhaps thats a story to be told another day or era for now I need to delve into whats going on in the SF6 time skip once i get the game!!! Also yes you must do a Lore Story for Final Fight also I recommend going the extra route and do one for Streets Of Rage too. Some other Fighting Game franchises I request you should do that I like are Bloody Roar, Killer Instinct, Darkstalkers, but the main one Virtua Fighter the game that has no in game Endings, Prologues, Synopsis or anything leaving you to pull out a manual to figure out what is going on who is feuding with who, what character’s motives are etc.
