Little thing about that P-47, it wasn’t a USAAF squadron, but part of the FAM (Fuerza Aeronáutica Mexico) and the 201st fighter squadron flies to this day operating F-5 Freedom Fighters and participates in NORAD operations each year. I’m glad this video is already getting some good traction, I’m glad to be part of this community!

@ yes and no… there was no standardized allied markings for the pacific theater, so the roundel was because of the training, the force-integration, and Mexico having trained the pilots in the USA on USAAF platforms. There was a USAAF roundel on one wing and a FAM roundel on the other wing if you look at photos of them. I’ve had the honor of going to Mexico City to see the surviving 201st squadron P-47 they have on display. Gorgeous plane!

British Main here. I sometimes have the feeling that Gaijin hates us. I love to use the example of the Cannon on the Warrior. It was always somehow useless against the tanks of it's br. 3 shots per magazine. It was fast firing and had a very short reload in between. And now look at it… One shot per 0.5 seconds and a magazine reload of about 0.7 seconds. The missle is the only useful thing on that tank now. And not too long ago i was in my Churchill VII fighting a soviet milktruck over a distance of around 600m - 700m. I hit him multible times all over the the driver's cab and once hit him square in the stored ammo and NOTHING happend. He hit me ONCE on my turret and instakilled me…

The cannon on the warrior/scimitar/fox hits hard but you have to be in a position to pen which most of the time isnt an option and you end having to be a rat tank. The warrior however gets access to single fire missiles, meaning you can keybind the atgm sight mode and fire from behind cover/hills bc its raised above the tank. But i agree with gaijin hating british vehicles in general, feels like i can never drive up a 1 degree incline before my engine gives out...

War thunder sim is still alive. Instead of just pressing ready for battle you can view available rooms to join and select an aircraft of that br. You can get into dogfights pretty easily, just look around for black dots at mission objectives and go on. Although I'd advise to stay out of dogfights, you do whatever you want. Air sim is now better than ever. I make 40k sl in a normal game on a 5.0 p-51 D

The amount history I learned simply by a video game is a testament why I want vehicles to be represented authentically. Overpressure is far better then hull break, tho I would like them to model armor fatigue, that way overpressure can be removed and just break an armor from the sheer impact of the shell.

the ebr actually was 3.3 for the tech tree one and 4.7 for the premium one i think. But its was worse than the puma in everyway, it would drive slowly off-road, has a longer reload than the puma, and doesnt get 8 wheel steering. But the puma still get to sit at a lower BR for whatever reason other than being german and a ww2 vehicle. (i guess the tech tree one had aphe.)

42:35 im sorry but this section is just really incorrect: first of all, coelian was built, but instead of how we see it in game, it was a mockup, a panther chasis with a wooden mockup turret, gaijin themselfs even mention this on their wiki. second of all, what pictures you shown, and what you mentioned was r2y1(which was a development on cancelled r1y), a cancelled prototype of a reconnaissance aircraft, r2y2 was a proposed meanwhile works on the r2y1 were made. Meanwhile i dont know anything about existing blueprints of that aircraft, i know that there were 3 proposed versions of r2y2. In 2009, a polish author "Krzysztof Zalewski" released a magazine called "Lotnictwo Numer Specjalny 9" where he describes all 3 of the aircraft, and he described them how they look in the game, and im saying this because even IL 2 birds of pray (a precurssor to war thunder) didnt include any japanese aircraft, and that game came out in 2009. i personally have no clue who came up with how the r2y2 looked, was it zalewski, and gaijin took inspiration out of his magazine (a slim chance ngl), or did somebody else came up with the design, but one is certain, its not "gaijin's custom design" and i still think it shouldnt be available in the game.

You know I actually agree with you why isn't the finish swastika in game?, because the story of how the finish swastika came into being actually quite fascinating and I would recommend anyone to research it, but to give a basic rundown the first finish aircraft was donated by a Swedish count, it had a white square with a blue swastika and that was Finland's first aircraft, and it was a donated one, and ever since then Finland has always used a swastika on their aircraft, in fact Finland still uses it, it's on there national flag, it's on the finish Air Force academies flag, and it's also on a few buildings as well even on a few finish medals, now I actually find a hammer and Sickle to be more offensive, and people may say that there's no difference between a Nazi Swastika and a finish one but they're actually is, if you read up on the history of how Finland used it and where the swastika came from

People always complain about the "too many t80s" argument lets see: - 9 t80s (only 3 in the tech tree) - 19 leopard 2 (13 in the tech tree) - 12 f16s (all in tt) (only 1 is not in multiple trees) - 8 f15s -14 mig 21s And so on And before you say the leo 2 a4 a5 ecc shouldnt be counted because they're different versions same has to be considered with t80s so lets see: -5 t80u (only 1 in the tt) -8 leo2a4 (5 in the tt)
