Could you please add timestamps in the notes against the songs, by copying them from a comment by Brahadeesh Sankarnarayanan below? Probably the first time I am seeing Semmangudi in a non-white kurta, though even this shirt is only off-white. And normally Shri V Subramaniam sits to his right side. Which year was this concert? Once I met a Sanskrit scholar when he was 85. His wife told me he had started having difficulty remembering words. how can someone like this average singing - quite jarring to the ear - almost like crooning and crying. I think its tradition to like mediocrity. MBK has a singing voice so it sounds great when he sings! We can give Semmangudi credit for MS - she's a gem and has a wonderful bhava and melodic voice but this guy is so overrated!

Sir with all due respect, please listen to all of his Kharahapriya recordings. SSI mama is a legend. He was closer to his 90s in this recording and hence would be wrong of us to judge him by only this recording. His Appanavadharitha Kathaamrutham (23 minutes) one is a recording which can make anyone emotional. I'd suggest you give that a try
