The Congo Aquarium

Today we finally start setting up the CONGO aquarium. I always imagined this aquarium to be as true a representation of a slice of the dark continent to showcase the fishes and habitat to absolute best . West Africa Congo hosts a veritable bounty of unique and amazing species of tropical fish and several species will eventually call this aquarium home.
In this video we will go through the full setup process to getting some fish swimming in the aquarium.

Awesome tanks! Just me thought about the algae in your piranha tank, I think it's actually cyanobacteria, AKA blue slime algae. You probably already know lol but you can do a 3 to 5 day blackout to kill the cyano.

Yes 100%...also 100% pain in the butt...lol i would have to cover the tank with something as the window in the room faces east so very bright. For now water changes takes care of most of it

Oh it is and rampant… lol The addition of the live wood with all the bark etc… was a massive volume of organic load
