I think it would also REALLY help if you broke down the sentences and explain what each word means / how each word fits in the sentence. It is very difficult trying to figure it out on my own. Thank you very much xx

I love when you mention songs to check out! Has led me down a glorious rabbit hole. There is some wonderful Twi trap music out there. I am particularly enjoying Showbezzy, Sarkodie, and Lord Paper now. :) Medaase

😊 Good to know you're enjoying our music. And by "Showbezzy", I imagine you intended "Stonebwoy"?

what is the difference between ankaa and akutuo
@learnakan4 жыл бұрын
Hi Victoria, the difference is just dialectal. "ankaa" is Asante Twi; "akutuo" is Fante

Please make a video on basic sentence structure. I dont even know how to form a basic sentence 😭
@learnakan5 жыл бұрын
Hi Felicity 😊, I have that in the curriculum but, for the sake of the beginners, we cannot jump ahead. All the grammar lessons are meant to prepare beginners towards sentence structure/formation. We'll definitely get there.

referring to the supplemental comment that you made about the use of "anaa" as taught in the last part of the video; there used to be a legal program on adom tv called "me wɔ case anaa" (do i have a legal case? or do i not). as to the assignment of the day, i think that i can do the last one from memory without consulting the dictionary: "food or water" -> "aduane anaa nsuo"

@learnakan5 жыл бұрын
Good! 😊 Only two pointers: 1. We don't add "akwaaba" in our response to same. You can do "yaa anua", "yaa agya", etc. or simply "yaa" 2. "nkosua" is the plural form of egg. A single egg would be "kosua" Me nso me ho yɛ, Joanna😊

Good attempt Kwaku. That should be: mekyea wo me nua Yaw pa ara. Wo ne w'abusua ho te sɛn? (I greet you (very much) my brother Yaw. How are you and your family (doing))? Megye wo so, me nua Kwaku. Me ne m'abusua ho yɛ pa ara. Medaase.
Are there gonna be more conjunction videos? They're very helpful, and the key to fluency I think
