I think it was Virat’s immense presence on the pitch together with his quick, astute thinking & cricket instincts & body language that influenced the umpire. Very tight call & probably in hindsight the benefit of the doubt should have gone Pakistan’s way however, kudos to Kohli for asking as was his right. @@_lessthanzero_ eh ? how often do such incidents happen ? maybe once in a game ? five times ? out of 20 wickets that could possibly fall, even if you review all of them at the rate of one minute per review, that will extend the game by 20 minutes. this is the worst scenario. practically, in a t20 game, on an average 11 wickets are lost. most of them are clearly out. a freak occurrence like the kohli six happens maybe once is 20 games. and you still think it is not worth reviewing? and when there is so much emphasis on snicko, hot spot, trajectory etc which could make the difference between a 99.99% and a 100%, why not have a review system for something as basic as this ?

And about Virat's involvement, I feel he is kind of more aware of rules, a bit more aggressive for appealing and very much in the moment of game. So he asked for things somebody let it go. \ And for our practical purpose, so many times fielder appeals for wicket out of enthusiasm rather than confidence and umpire gives batsman out. But batting team has no review and in spite of batter being not out, he has to go. And vice versa too, that few fine nicks and nobody heard it and review not taken. Think about 30-40 years back, it is being said that if you are going to play cricket in Pakistan, one has to play against 13 players. And this is not only for India, for every team. So enjoy, chill and learn something new in our favorite sport.

Incidents were more in Pakistan and Sharjah; I am trying to be objective by the facts I read when I was in my early teens. And but those decisions were in back up to some really extra ordinary bowling by Pakistani fast bowlers at that time. One need to hit the pad to get controversial LBW or break the stump for runout, Am i right ? That is why it is difficult to beat any team at their home ground !! So any team which is performing well in any era will be beneficiary with this kind of stuff; and people will cry whenever top seeded team will be benifited. Anyone is even happy to discuss if same thing will happen between Zimbabwe and Netherland match ? Every winning team needs some luck, provided by many times by dropped catches, missed runout and umpiring blunders and what not. You can't make game played by human error proof. @@arielmizrahi5723 well Sachin retired a long time ago , and you are missing the point, India is not becoming the victim of bad umpiring in big stages like world cup , umpires always favours India , but for Bangladesh it's the opposite, Bangladesh is becoming the victim again and again , doesn't matter with whom they are playing against. Now does it happen with India in recent times? No , absolutely not , that's the problem here , umpires have to treat every team equally, that's every teams right.
