On September 20, 2019, the plan was for Matty Roberts and his Facebook Storm Area 51 gang to Naruto run past the gates of Area 51 to see them aliens. This is the story of why it failed.
On June 27, 2019, a 21-year-old guy named Matty Roberts created an call to action to Storm and Raid Area 51in the form of a Facebook Event. The event soon got 2 million strong, with the ACTUAL POTENTIAL to Storm Area 51. But, as time went on, Matty Roberts backed down and shifted his focus on a part in Las Vegas known as Alienstock. Even with the leader out of the picture, people still showed up for the Area 51 Raid in Rachel, Nevada...but things didn't go as planned. With just a few hundred people showing up, the raid was deemed a failure. But WHY?!?
