To anyone freaked out about the cognito hazard, and that genuinely felt unnerving dread and that something supernatural was happening, just know that it's all our brain's fault. I read the phrase several times in the comments before Wendigoon explained it. Nothing happened. Then after he explained it I felt extremely creeped out and had shills down my whole body, and I didn't even look at the image. What's happening here is the nocebo effect. When we trick our brains into believing something to the point that it works, in a bad way. I know a lot of people are skeptical, myself included, and still felt really weird about it. That's because you consciously know it's fake and nothing will happen, but subconsciously you're thinking "hold up... But what if...?" And that freaks you out

Bro right as I looked at the picture I jus felt like a super anxious feeling or something like that idk how to explain it

Yeah this is probably it. Personally I reason myself with how I am afraid of having nightmares, so I am afraid of being spooked by something and having it in my nightmares. But that's probably partly nocebo too. Btw nice Maya icon!

For anyone concerned about the term that he labels as a "cogninto hazard" at 16:40, here's a little note about that. While almost definitely harmless, (as there are plenty of spooky trolls like this such as those "send this to 5 more people or die" text chains) I figured I'd mention it since some people can get paranoid about that sort of thing.

So, here's the thing about Emoto's experiments: We have literally MILLIONS of man-hours spent researching ice, freezing, and the way composition of water affects the process. The reason the different waters had different "personalities" is because they had different compositions. The different minerals suspended in these waters greatly changes the way they freeze. I mean, it's literally what they do in Antarctica. At least the civilians.

I don't believe in cognitohazards, but the same way I don't believe in ghosts, there's always a persistent "what if" in the back of the mind We rationalize it's a silly concept, a demon stalks you for hearing a sentence or looking at an image, but that superstitious part of us persists with the "what if". That's the "demon". That uneasiness and nervousness you feel by thinking about it, by looking at the image, that's the demon itself. "It grows stronger and targets you the more you look at the image or hear the sentence", the demon isn't a supernatural being, the demon is the fear you feel of this concept being real, the demon is the "what if" that the dark corner of your brain keeps uttering. And what event would be so powerful to destroy the initial Earth while also not being of God’s intended will? The angelic rebellion. Or perhaps it was caused by the sheer impact of Lucifer being thrown down from heaven after he lost the war against God.

I remember researching Dr. Emoto and his antics when I was a young lad; it was somewhat believable until I discovered he'd been taking water from polluted areas and comparing it to clean/filtered water. He stated that the different results were because of emotion which is why both test subjects froze differently, but didn't bother to use the same water for both tests. I will give him credit for one thing, and that's that freezing polluted water leads to impurities. Thanks, Dr. E.

Since Pi has (possibly) every number imaginable in its sequence - the despair code is somewhere in it too, meaning that when we reach it we won't be able to progress further or use Pi anymore, since knowledge of that part of Pi will kill us or make us severely depressed. Maybe if there's life on other planets and they have some type of despair code for them too, then this could also be a reason of why we can't contact anyone else? 13:00 About evolution, this is because almost all animals have the exact same organs. We almost never 'get new organs' we just reuse old ones. For example: Fish use swim bladders to float up or down by swallowing water at the surface (you may see them come up and 'gulp' now and again) so they can maintain balance and buoyancy in the water. We reused those air-pumping swim bladders as lungs. We also repurposed our gills as vocal cords/vocal folds and the bones associated with gill flaps as inner ear-bones. Which is why fish can't speak or communicate through sound, despite how much better water is at transmitting sound. They never evolved that because they're still using those organs for breathing under water, and don't have any useless organs to repurpose. You see the same thing with horses whose hooves aren't new body parts, but just overgrown fingernails. Or whales whose blowholes aren't new orifices, but really far back nostrils. Etc etc. We don't get new organs or body parts. We just reuse what we have.

On the insane secret human organs theory: Developing a new organ is more difficult than editing an existing organ evolutionarily. Even if the end step of us having a set of wings would be beneficial to us, every step in the evolution of that organ would need to be beneficial, which would not be true for us as the energy it would require for us to be fueling our legs, arms and a useless set of half-evolved useless wings would be too high. The "fitness landscape" is a term in biology describing a way to visualize this. Evolution on such a large scale happens usually over millions of years and not several hundreds. Maybe a bird's beak length or a rabbits ear height could change over that period of time, but growing a new organ wouldn't be so easy. (I'm not an evolutionary biologist and others could explain it better, I just saw the video 'what is impossible in evolution' by "it's ok to be smart" on KZbin so pls let me know what I missed here.)

I mean at the start of the lockdown there was some evidence about nicotine helping not get bad cases of covid, all of the info was ignored really quick and people stopped talking about it tho and I haven't done much research into it

@@humptusdumptus4123 the way covid infects causes it to react with the same parts that nicotine does, so vaping, nicotine patches or smoking would prevent covid, issue with smoking to avoid covid is that if you get it it will be a much more dangerous case, a double edged sword if you will
@Deadhound1413 жыл бұрын
Probably waved off because nicotine is an addictive substance and the benefits didn't outweigh the side effects. There are videos out there showing a guy smoking cigs dying a slow death. The guy documented himself smoking cig with more and more potency and quantity to the point of him dying of cancer. I can't find the channel but there a video on the channel called KZbin's Darkest Channels 3.

One of my favorite things about this series is actually how long it takes to put them together, so I have no problem rewatching previous videos to stay relevant to the topic.

Honestly the images you describe in the Despair Code align so much with pictures of The Backrooms/ liminal spaces. Gives me that weird sense of dissociation/vague dread

warning: i am about to sound actually insane but this is a true experience, one shared by a lot of people i’ve met in my journey. about 5-6 years ago i first came across images of the backrooms. i was in a very bad place to begin with (extremely isolated and depressed) Seeing those images was like having an iron brand pressed and burned into my brain. my psyche was pushed past the earthly barrier and into “The Backrooms”. i theorize that if your vibrations are weak enough, strong vibrations like powerful images/sounds can drag you around by your hair. i think a lot of people can keep their feet on earth because of the barriers they put up to protect themselves(i.e.: that’s not real, it’s just an image on my screen, and that requires a steady flow of vibration) i know this sounds like a sad delusion, but actually Being There is nothing like a hallucination, daydream, or depression. since then my psyche has gotten a lot stronger and i’ve been able to travel to other planes, including back to earth. if anyone reading this is in a Backroom or in the Inside World, you are going to be okay, even if you never leave

That phenomenon already exists! It's called reality shifting. I've been trying it for a few months and I've come really close to shifting to my desired reality. It might sound difficult to believe but there's a massive community behind reality shifting that has succeeded to shift realities :D

It's easy to get drawn into theories like this cause there's strands of truth in a lot of them. You see a few true things in a theory and your defenses lower and you start accepting more and more with less skepticism.
@evansecencefan14352 жыл бұрын
Yeah, i find that especially with the anti medicine one. Sure, there are people getting hooked on irresponsibly administered highly addictive painkillers, sure, some medications can make you worse if you get misdiagnosed or self medicate, but the theory for the most part is just crazy. Its nasty how easy it is to slip into it

Since then I've learned to view things with just a little bit of nihilism. If they're not real great, if they are real, fuck it, nothing I can do about it anyways
