Me too played it with my father, when I was 7. I still have a two-disk physical copy. I did play FEAR, Doom, Painkiller, Wolfenstein then and this game was a good addition to my collection. Now it looks shitty, at least, comparing with AAA projects, but then I hadn't known about them well and enjoyed even mean games, simply as kid. Nostalgia really renders games of childhood heavily, especially in the memories.

The more i look back, the more i realize how much the PS2 Era has such a good library. Imagine what talented devs could do with things from that era nowadays? I remember this movie foundly from my early teenage years. Video Games during this era were just awesome as well. I miss that "No F*cks given" type vibe that video games & movies had back then. I love how this is one of the few times a youtuber makes a video about a game with a title like "Insert Game Name Here that no one remembers" where it's a game that I actually don't remember or knew exists. Like I was around during the ps2 days when I was younger and had some pretty obscure games that people make retrospectives on nowadays and say it has been lost to time but I always knew what they were lol.

That film is the first time I noticed Tilda Swinton. Also, although I knew Peter Stormare from his more outlandish roles, his performance as the King of Lies is one of the most memorable of the genre, let alone the medium.

Yeah Tilda was a great choice for Gabriel. Non-blonde and non-Brit -ness aside, I thought Keanu was really good in it. Hell I liked Gavin Rossdale in it as well, way more than I'd have guessed. Rachel Weisz is almost always good. All in all it was really well cast with some solid actors.

Couple things: you can actually see the knuckle dusters on his hands if you angle the camera right on his melee attacks. Next, True Sight not only lets you see the Crucifier nails on the ground ao you dont miss any but it also tracks the Bastados next teleport so you can get a bead on him and not get so overwhelmed. Good on you for finding out the Dragons Breath is great against the bosses with weak spots, just know it mauls the Vermin Demon when he breaks apart and it also absolutely bodies Gabriel at the end, making that fight a breeze

I remember picking this up during a buy one get one bargain bin deal at EBgames back in the day. Dont remember what the other game i got was, but this one sticks out in my memory as a really good time. Havent played it since probably 2007, but i think i still have that copy laying around somewhere in storage.

I always loved how the Constatine movie/game depicted Heaven and Hell. In most other media, they are depicted as separate dimensions. But here, Heaven and Hell are actually on opposite ends of a spectrum and the "real world" is somewhere in the middle. Heaven/Hell just look like a much better/worse version or the real world. And exorcists like John Constantine are basically living radios who "tune" themselves towards one end or another in order to interact with otherworldly creatures like angels and demons.
