Max payne 3 was great but i dont think ever remember a game were going after the achievements/trophy's makes it really tedious 😅 of they ever do a rerelease i hope someone works on that part

The main problem imo with the karma system in InFamous is that you can't be neutral, you need to commit to one direction or the other.

They would start off shooting upright, then tilt the gun to the side as they held the trigger down so they could hose down their intended targets. Be it in a room or in a car. That way the recoil carried the SMG into the next target instead of them having the muscle the gun back down and fight the recoil for each consecutive target. That's how they carried out hits with the gun. (Obviously it only worked when their targets were bunched together, but that was a legitimate technique.)

I've played Dead Space to the point that self imposed iron man mode with no med kit usage allowed is pretty much my standard playthrough It becomes a game of balancing run speed, your health bar and the 5 health upgrades that refill your health. Makes any mistake/lost pip of health count. But it also mean I know the game inside out. So the idea of going back through the Ishimura but in first person is indeed appealing.

I think it s a great idea but it is not that scary like normal one bc. The 3rd person implementation we see isak all animations from scared to injuries and add a atmospheric note and fps it s more like a traditional shooter. Look at the alien isolation if it was 3rd person game it dosen t have the same impact when you run and hide from xenomorph bc you have more view.

the thing with RE4 is it definitely needs a wider FOV, but i would be worried how that compromises the visuals of the game. but now i definitely want to see a cutscene of an already headless Leon get decapitated.

Little off topic but it really sucks how rough gaming has been in this year so far, especially with the amount of incredible releases from 2023 alone

RE4R VR really does wonders for the horror aspect of the game, played through the standard game enough times on all difficulties to unlock everything and being able to do the same in VR makes it feel like a whole new game

...issues with the PC port of Dead Space? that's surprising. It always worked flawlessly for me. It's the remake where I had issues with the constant stuttering. I guess every PC is different.

Re2 had first person mod wich was fully adjustable and worked great. It's strange that re4 to this point have no fully developed fps mod even tho it's the same engine as re2

I didn’t finish the Dead Space Remake because it was kinda boring but playing it from first Person might make it more interesting than just playing it again with better graphics 🙂

I'd play Dead Space in first person for my first playthrough, except all that talk of trouble even getting it to run. Probably not the best experience to deal with self-inflicted bugs on a first playthrough.
