Def one of my all-time faves. I used to live in Ottawa, y'know. Beautiful city, of course cold as f. I remember I was waiting for a bus at like midnight one winter, all alone at my stop, shivering my nuts off and stomping my feet to keep warm, and this girl walked up to the stop just as the bus arrived, laughed real hard and said "Welcome to Arctic Hell!" 🤣

Sure is. And Bridges was perfect for the role. Bridges and Allen were nominated for both Academy and Golden Globe awards. Real shame they didn't get all their money back on this one. Esp when Hollywood generally follows the money - and that lead to ever more formula driven, dumbed-down ROI movies.

Tougher than Tuna, with this weird grittiness in it. Almost like gristle in every bite. Wasn't a fan. Maybe it depends on the shark.

Bridges is my favorite movie President..he nailed this role. Man, there's a lot of eating in this film, it's almost kinda weird. I guess being President must be pretty exhausting and stressful, so one would eat a lot. Plus, you can eat whatever you want whenever(giant, organic oatmeal cookies with raisins that taste like grapes!), and you have your own private kitchen and servants to cook it all up for you. Must be pretty cool!

Wow, great use of witty dialogue and the little games of expressing power. Bridges uses his voice, both with tone and words, and his height advantage her, to make Slater's character look so puny. He basically castrated him with a verbal scalpel. Some LBJ type level stuff here.
