I *love* this scene. It's so well-acted; Al Pacino does an *incredible* job adapting his style to Shakespeare, and I also like how Joseph Fiennes as Bassanio seems to be trying to decide whether to sympathize more with Antonio or Shylock.

Antonio's too nice. He's supposed to be that guy you REALLY hate. Like for example, pushing Shylock to the ground while asking him for money, or spitting on him during the loan!
