The Controller I Use The Most. Top 5 Reasons.

This is the controller I use more than any other arcade stick I own and here's 5 reasons why. The Furin Arcade FRS is no ordinary fight pad. With optional modules it can transform from practically any input method and button layout available. The question is, are you ready for it?

Btw, the reason I didn't do this in the regular "review" format is because for the most part, it's the same as the FRS I made a video for last year. The version sent to me was mostly just so I could get an idea of what a finished production unit looks and feels like.

I really LOVE the artwork of this, I assume that means you drew it and it looks amazing. Something I also really appreciate about this layout is the spreading of the buttons, like you said. I had a custom hitbox layout my friend made, and his hands are much bigger than mine (i have very small hands) and I grew to love the spacing and design of that stick a lot. I recently switched to snackbox and it's PERFECT for my form and hands (plus its really cute!!!) but the buttons for some games (like doing kara inputs/grapples for potemkin for me) It's just a bit too cramped. I really want to consider this brand in the future because of their customization options. I think bigger buttons on the right in their style Plus wasd layout from them would be absolutely killer for me.

This is my favorite leverless as well. (Also own a hitbox, snackbox and kitsune) It just feels so good. I use Redragon A113 Bullet-S switches. Also you can get a 30mm layout for the buttons on the right which makes double tapping feel like a regular fightstick or arcade cab. Highly recommended!

I thought that as well but switching to mechanical switch is just more optimal and the future. much faster actuation time longer life span and customizable..

ima be the actual voice of reason for you since these 2 didnt do you any favors as someone who owns almost every type of button known to the market. Yesh mechanical buttons are nice and definitely have their own thing going on (different between gamerfinger or crown 202s who are a button with full housing and a switch with just a cap on it) . But are they "better"? hell naw that's preference, No type of button/controller will make you better. Only people who say they are "optimal" are scrubs like these or when people do an ad vids. You can even see content creators or pro players on streams our events using controllers with their own preferred buttons and most of the times its not even mechanical buttons even tho they did a review of a controller with mechanical buttons. You either go for them because you like how they feel and it meets your needs or not at all, Like everything else in your controller :)

if you like the cherry silvers, try the akko cs silvers (not the other silver v3s). quicker, and less over travel!

Hmmm. Sound really fishy. Cherry keys has too much travel. This is literally a usual mechanical keyboard but with 12 buttons. You can say all you want about the feel but the time & precision of double tap is directly related to the reset & debounce time, which is proportional to the key travel. Unless this is some sort of hall effect switches like the Wooting one, which it isn't. The switch mounting looks rather flimsy too. Especially for fighting games. And with a complete lack any keycap stabilisers it will be wobbly or even prone to break. In comparison all choc switches like the one on snackbox micros have horizontal stabilization.

Hey, do you know where and which shops in japan / Tokyo I can browse around for leverless controller ? Looking for a specific shop advise rather than a blank answer if “akiba”. Especially interested in that gachikun type button layout. I think punk workshop calls it type b layout . It would be nice to be able to try the controller at the shop before buying. Cheers

They’re not common in shops in Japan. The only one I’ve seen is the HitBox Arcade controller which is sometimes in stock at Yodobashi camera. Apart from that most people buy the mod kit from attasa, buy from indie creators, or import the Victrix. Kitsune might be available online to order depending on stock.

It´s really pricy, i went crazy and ordered it with the brook fusion for the PS5. With shipping and taxes it was 585 Euros. This is by far the most expensive Stick i´ve ever bought. But damn, it´s worth it.
