The show was groundbreaking for Black comedians and actors, giving them a chance to shine in ways Hollywood had never done before. Many cast members went on to become huge stars. But it wasn’t always easy. "In Living Color" pushed boundaries, and that sometimes caused controversy. By season three, things started to go downhill. By the end of season four, the Wayans family wasn’t involved anymore, and the show ended after five seasons on May 19, 1994.
