Hi, it's me, one of the usually silent enjoyers. CGB is one of like 2 KZbin channels I keep up with these days and I've loved watching his videos for what feels like a decade. Always leave a like and watch till the end, to the point my fiancée recognizes the outri music. I watch both CGB and LVD, their contrast in personality is funny. But there is clear and concise way of detail that goes into explaining their rationale. Magic the Gathering is a fun game and brings people from different walks of life. You can have people like CGB who is talkative, funny, and self depreciating, and you can have the quieter, more in tuned, 100 different possibilities like LVD.

Here's my take on this whole "Rivalry", I religiously watch both of you guys. But i go to LVD's video like its a class in college, i go to Luca to learn a big brained version of decks I'd never think of crafting for not knowing the synergies. I go to you to feel like I'm watching a friend of mine kick some ass in Magic, you make me laugh, I love the competitive trash talk, the over the top intros and ad reads, all of it. You two bring something completely different to the table and I couldnt appreciate either of you enough for keeping me interested in magic for all these years. You're cool CGB.

I actually only discovered LVD because of you. Back in the magic duels days I was subbed to SuperMadLad and you (yes I remember the playstation camera days) and he started showing up in recommended. When the U/B reanimator deck came out I just thought to myself "oh sweet I get to see someone else play this cool deck too!". Both of you are great for different reasons and I think that the vast majority of both your viewers understand how these little coincidences pop up from time to time.

I hate this deck was skewed just a bit further into spells than creatures for Phyrexian Censor to work. Seems like that sort of lock type piece would be right up CBG's alley. It is tremendously good in all Phyrexian decks for slowing down opponents way down. Honestly I just like the super long turn after playing it as you know they are trying to figure out what is happening.

btw when Skrelv gives Toxic 1, that stacks on top of what that creature already has. see 9:38 for a demo how that works So that's 4 poison with the duelist 22:50 and no need to attack with skrelv usually 20:00

Both you and LVD are enjoyable to watch for different reasons. And you're 100% correct on the deck ideas--the way the game is designed makes certain strategies rise to the top, and those in the know will pick up on those strategies, with probably minor changes for personal flair.

The algo machine constantly reminds me why I have to go over 40% land for each deck. Statistically I should never get 1 mana on a draw, but it happens a lot. I figured it's the game doing me dirty is all.

The thing with being bullied by a crowd is that sometimes you get wolf-packed. E.g. ten people each give you 0.3 units of bullying, so that none of them has done anything especially heinous (according to the rules), and if the threshold for being banned is like 0.5 units of bullying they're 'safe'. The problem is the person on the receiving end gets 3.0 (net) units of bullying - greatly exceeding the threshold. Then (if it's an online forum) they start responding in kind. Maybe they hand out 0.33 units of bullying to all their attackers in reply (because people tend to escalate the tit for tat over multiple iterations). They might also see that the mods are doing nothing. Then the mods come along and see one person being toxic to a bunch of other people, and they think 'well he must be the problem', and so the victim of the wolf-packing is the one who gets banned. And the wolf-pack slinks off into the darkness, or worse yet, they feel vindicated. 'We were _right_ to gang up on that guy, _because_ he got banned.' And none of the wolf-packers even get a strike, so their record is still spotless.... despite being serial bullies.

At 22:43 in the game against the mardu deck I think there maybe was a missed an opportunity to corrupt them with the double strike attacker by giving an extra two toxic by using skelv on attack. It's possible there to get really blown out by a cut down but if they were corrupted on turn 4 it's not hard to imagine the rest of the game playing differently.

I have a pretty nasty toxic/proliferate deck myself,I even managed to discombobulate a mono red "player" But I took Skrelvs Hive,4 copies and that seemed to help, it's a decent card and has saved me a few times and the tokens aren't super valuable but they can put the opponent in something of a bind if they can't block all the creatures and they're almost to 10 poison

I thought it was strange, since i watch both of you that the same deck was played 2 days in a row, but i realize most likely you both record your video's in bulk (only guessing) and choosing when to release a video, you don't check all other CC for what they posted first. And your decks were not the same either, like i would say you are a touch more defensive in your card selection then LVD. To bad about wizards, but it was really nice with a standard video over there when you posted historic on your main channel. Hopefully both of you get a new contract.

Oh, and your mono-red hate content is pure enjoyment - I have barely any time to play and really want to grow my wildcards so I grind mono-red for that sole reason. No apologies! But I built a Katilda, Dawnhart Prime historic brawl deck for when I have down time that has an amazing winrate and about 8 wincons when I get time to actually play magic.
