Las Vegas area is great but actually has 5 months of temperatures above 95°s. Then 5 months of heavy jacket or cold weather. One month in the spring and month in autumn it is beautiful. Grew up in Michigan and lived in Southern California over 30 years. Surprisingly people visiting from the Midwest complain about the cold, And compared to LA, folks feel it's unbearable during the winter and the summer.

Interesting, I have lived here since 2016 and noticed the heat is over 95 just about 3 months out of every year, my biggest shock was the winter it actually gets pretty cold here in Las Vegas! Where do you live now? Have you thought about making a move to Henderson?

Thanks for the informative video. Looking to retire in that area - definitely favoring Henderson over Summerlin. I haven't been out there in the heat of the summer but exercise here in Saint Louis when heat index is over 100 degrees. What I don't like is winter here when it gets under 30 degrees - maybe Henderson better in that regard?

Hey Roger! It does when I lived in SUMMERLIN it got pretty cold it even snowed for a day! It gets cold but nothing a nice warm jacket doesn’t fix! Have you explored Henderson real estate at all?

One of the best areas of Henderson is the SW region: Anthem, Anthem Highlands, Southern Highlands, Inspirada. Quite, clean, peaceful, safe. Easy access to freeway, entertainment, dining, shopping, M-Resort. Amazing quality of life, ease of living. Clark County, NV in general has best weather in the entire USA.

Is it all cookie cutter HOA controlled developments? Is there any houses with decent size yards? Like an acre or so? Houses are too close to each other and no yards for my taste.

Yes my lot is 1.25 acre in the rural Foothill area. We love the lifestyle here and strip view.
