5:00 I have 2c curl waves. Curls all around my face and bangs and my ends, but the rest is really wavy. So my dreads are straight but the ends are wispy, except they're curling 😂

You should keep in mind that some maintain a loose or wispy end on their locs because it is preference, not because they are always young. Ive been maintaining and creating dreads and extensions for all hair types for many many years, and a lot of the white customers lovvvveee to have their open ends.

If you have straight hair, for sure use perm rods and curl your hair as much as.possible. dont use perms solution just conditioner, wash it out, let it dry very well and take it out and dread. Doing dreads on bone straight hair makes them not taken care of. You want blunted tips and tight roots
