I was SOOOO glad to see you go through the parking lot and see what real people drive. I don’t take much stock in what a lot of KZbinrs say, since they are operating on unlimited budgets where money and cost is no object, running around making like they are just the average Joe, who, according to their philosophy, takes a brand new Jeep home and immediately trashes everything but the body with new suspension, Hemi, $10k worth of wheels and tires and acts like this is what normal people do, and it could not be farther from the truth. That’s what I really like about your channel, you and your wife are real people who go to real places with your Jeeps that you spend your own money on. I hope to make it over to the Ozarks this fall. We have a vacation scheduled to the Broken Bow/Hochatown area of Oklahoma and I plan to take some extra time around the Ouachita National Forest. Great video, thank you very much!

Thanks!! We do have sponsored things on our Jeeps but we like to keep it realistic and I never want to forget where I came from as a minimalist overlander wheeling 2012 Jeep JKU with DYI parts. Broken Bow/Hochatown is a fun and gorgeous area!! We have a video on it from a couple years ago. We loved it!
@glenngore66092 жыл бұрын
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Yes, you do get sponsorships and that’s fine, but you are very careful to always identify them as sponsorships and differentiate them from what you pay for yourself. Others are not so forthcoming about that with the viewers, using such phrases as “our friends at X hooked us up with X”, etc when adding what to a normal person would be a $10,000 expense. I really appreciate the honesty. Those people in the parking lot spent their own hard-earned money building their fantastic rigs while some of the KZbin crowd got $50,000 worth of freebies to play with to build those impossibly great rigs. Yes it is something to aspire to but those rigs are not normal.

YES! This video was actually way better than I was expecting it to be. A lot of the “expo” videos are a lot of the same, but this one had a great perspective. Also, as a born and raised Oregonian I’m truly happy to hear how much you loved it here. Oregon has it all, and I hope to see you making more videos out west. Desert to beach to mountains . We also have more miles of forest roads than any other state. 70k miles worth, come on back!

Great job showing some of the new products. Feel Like there's so much more new stuff that wasn't shown. How can someone see everything in 2 -3 days? You must have been wiped out. Thanks for showing some of the everyday rigs and set ups. Really cool. The canopy set ups from Australia are getting more and more traction here in the States. With the sizing tend to work well on trails aka Overlanding and eating well on the trail. Those little baking ovens are the coolest bit of kit.

Nice to see all the new gear for a "newbie" like myself. Speaking of newbie,I have the Ecoflow Delta Mini and just received a new Iceco vl75 pro during last weeks Prime sale and when I try plugging the fridge into the dc port on the mini, I keep getting an overload error on the mini and it shuts off the outlet and thus the fridge. Is this a voltage or amperage thing? It runs on the ac power cord plugged into the ac inverter on the mini. Matt or anyone else have thoughts??? Love your videos
