I saw this video and instantly bought these. This I my first time visiting your channel and I already love it being a total suspension nut myself, please keep posting videos on these shocks and what you learn as I will too. Thank you for posting.

Cool, thanks for the sub. I tend to jump around to different projects and summer means more mountain biking but I’ll def be getting back to more tuning on these soon.

Pistons are for your low speed adjustment, along with oil viscosity. The bypass is position sensitive, and does more of the high speed valving. Tiny o rings? Try rebuilding a mtb shock.

I’ve rebuilt Mtb shocks, never seen anything this tiny! There’s crossover in all of the damping circuits and it’s really dependent on piston hole size and clicker settings. Smaller piston holes will force more fluid through the bypass so they come into play at lower speeds. It’s all about pressure. It’s going to be interesting to see if the clickers make a noticeable difference.

Whats up love the channel is the traxxas udr worth the money in your opinion. Thanks
@rcilluminati26 Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I really think it depends on what you appreciate more, scale looks and driving experience or overall performance and reliability. Compared to a Mojave, the UDR drives like a real desert truck. It also requires a lot of attention and money to keep it that way. A truck like the Mojave will perform better in most terrain but it’s not the same experience. If you want something in between, get an SBR. Super tough, drives like a real desert truck and only a little less scale than a UDR.

Have you had any issue with them leaking
@rcilluminati267 ай бұрын
Yes, they do leak after a while. Not sure if there’s a fix but I believe they have a new seal for them.

I think you are right I did some research after hearing about them leaking really bad. Thanks for the response!

Do the shocks work for the super Baja Rey 2.0?
@rcilluminati262 жыл бұрын
these are too short but they are supposedly working on making the correct size the the SBR

Horrible shocks leak from everywhere. I’ve built 100s of shocks in the past
