The very great and wonderful man Ciarán Mac Mathúna, when I was a young boy/teenager would listen to Ciaran on the radio, he made Irish traditional music interesting for me when I was more into Jazz and hard rocking music, Ciarán calm gentle manner, his knowledge of the music and people knew who played knew no bounds, man years later I got to hear that Ciarán Mac Mathúna was related to us through our dear Grandmother, Yes, it is a small world
